CharterCARE Medical Associates: Panneerselvam, Usha MD reviews
7I am still waiting for my doctor to call in a prescription for Wegavy. I had the appointment almost 3 weeks ago it's going through the insurance it has been approved for prior authorization I have called almost every single day I have never received a phone call back I was told that the insurance company called in a prescription or supposed to be calling it in which is not true as I've called the insurance company and I was told this Friday that the person who prescribed this to me has not actually sent it to the pharmacy for the past 3 weeks and that she left for the day so I'd have to wait now another two days for the weekend to be over I waited for 3 weeks and change my insurance based on this medication however CharterCare Medical's lack of patient support patient follow through patient needs being neglected shows me they don't really care about my weight loss or helping me get there and I would not recommend this place to anyone who is struggling with their weight or has any medical issues due to their weight this is the last place you would want to go.
Sadly, since Dr. Fraioli left, this place has become absolutely AWFUL! It is impossible to get through when you call. It rings and rings and then disconnects. And that's if you're lucky. Most of the time it's just a busy signal. One assistant called and starting giving me results for a completely different patient. I had to ask him to stop, as this should have been confidential. The new doctor does not take the time to talk to you or to follow-up after bloodwork, MRI's, x-rays, CT scans. You will speak with a receptionist or assistant who will read the results just as if you were reading them on your chart online. I've had to Google what all of my results actually meant. When I did finally get a couple of minutes to speak with doctor, he didn't help me at all, and then sent me a bill. He said he doesn't have time to go over results with all of his patients. I have been getting different tests and dealing with an issue for a year now. Still, no solution as noone listens or pats attention.
I've had pretty good luck here. The office staff is usually kind (at least the front staff) and the doctors listen and will send a referral for anything reasonable.
Spoke to this Dr as the on-call. Without revealing personal medical details about myself here, not only did she not read my chart at all, when she did read it she was reading it VERY incorrectly. Did not listen to a word I said and at the end of the call has the audacity to tell me that there are notes in my chart from my Dr from today! I may not be an MD.but shouldn't you check most recent notes before even taking the call? Completely incompetent. EDIT: went to ER same night and admitted with a major issue. This Dr almost killed me. I'd recommend avoiding.
This practice has gone down hill since Dr Fraioli left. Myself and my daughter have been patients with him when he was on Cedar Swamp Road. Since he has retired I have been hung up on by the manager “Bonnie” twice. She will not mail my medical records so I can transfer to a new Dr. Obviously I’m not the only one who feels as though this practice has gone to H*LL. Such a shame that this man built this practice only to have it be destroyed
Can literally never get a hold of the office because they’re never available during their hours of operation (even then I’m unable to leave a voicemail). My primary care doctor is never available and I dread trying to set up appointments here just because of the phone system.
Dr Usha is a great listener and very thorough. I went through a very difficult winter. Communication is always available, whether emails or phone.
