What can I say, chelo's is a hometown grill. Clean, family oriented atmosphere with great staff. Healthy options available, so not just fried foods, there's something for everyone on the menu.

This was by far the worst meal I've had in years! The Chicken Parm was hard as a rock, you could literally knock on the Chicken like a hammer. Just awful. The salad my girl had was supposed to be hot Chicken breast over Spinach, except that the chicken was dark meat and cold. The spinach wilted so bad Popeye wouldn't have eaten it.

Chelos is a great local chain that has a good mix of Americans fare. They are know for their clam cakes and chowder. They are trying to incorporate vegan dishes into their menu which is nice. They have daily specials. It is a nice atmosphere good place for children. There is a small train that you pay to travel around the restaurant. Good prices and friendly staff.

I don't know if they changed suppliers or what, but two pieces of my chicken finger basket were that weird rubbery texture chicken.

The food and service were both excellent. Carla, my server was very pleasant, friendly and is an outstanding employee.

Came here for the first time today and enjoyed it. Amy was our server and was very nice and accommodating. I had the Seafood Chowder and a side salad which were cooked and made well. My sister got the five cheese mac and cheese which we both liked and shared. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice modern feel to it. On our way out, a hostess and manager told us on our way out to have a good day and thanked us. Overall, great place to go relax and eat! I will come back here again.

Meal was good. Disappointed in the chowder. Usually delicious but this time was too much tomato flavored. Service Good

I just ordered a quart of Manhattan chowder from chelos east providence the potatoes were for the most part, Hard, which ruined the whole thing. I had the same chowder from chelos on Smithfield avenue in providence r. I and it was delicious. What’s going on

Whether dining in or getting curbside pickup, the meals are always hot, fresh, ample servings, the service is unmatched and efficient, the restaurant is clean, and the manager will visit your table and make sure everything is to your satisfaction.

While the Chelos family has been in RI for decades I’ve only stopped in a handful of times. Most recently with my family on a busy Saturday night but that didn’t stop the staff from being friendly and full of smiles. We were seated within minutes of walking in and the manager went and found us a high chair for the little one. Drinks were ordered and came straight away, shortly after the kids food arrived as did our appetizers. The speed in which this location operates in insane and everything was correct, hot and fresh. Cannot wait to go back!

I was visiting Rhode Island (home) and craving some chowder and clam cakes. Threw in a lobster roll to make it a Trifecta. Thanks Chelo's!

We had our Christmas party there. Food was great and our waitress Gabriel was exceptional.

Great food. The mozzarella sticks are the good kind. Just had to make sure to state that. If you find better it's now your responsibility to mankind to inform everyone. You got this, I believe in you.

Was served RAW / undercooked chicken on multiple occasions. I got the grilled chicken sandwich last night, took a few bites Before i realized it was undercooked. Feeling very sick today. I will never go back.

Amazing Clam Cakes & Chowder.and fantastic frozen mudslides and cold beers! Kim & Ashley are the best bartenders.
