Chelo's Hometown Bar & Grille

Visited on Wednesday 5-9-18 @ 6pm - crowded but in an organized way. Needed a booth for my guest which didn't present a problem given the level of activity. Server Derek was amiable and courteous and promptly took our order and surprisingly it was served very quickly. Food was good and we plan on returning. Enjoyed the Baby Spinach Salad with chicken.

We got seated right away on mothers day which was a nice surprise. The server rob was attentive and speedy, the service was fast and the food was on point. Usually Good food isn't fast and fast food isn't good, but for my dining experience it we fast and good! This place comes highly recommended! Plenty of parking in front and back, can be tricky to get into because the parking lot comes up quick on you. One of the best spots in RI to grab a beer and some good food.

Nice place to grab dinner. Have beyond burger which is phenomenal and a life saver for any vegan or vegetarian looking for a quick bite to eat while on the go

I may be a bias as this is my favorite place in RI. I know some people may say "Chelos? " with all the great restaurants in RI. Ive been to all of them. But for me it has been much more than a restaurant or bar. I met a group of people who have gone out of there way to welcome me.and I hate people. Lol. Everyone, and I mean everyone here is so polite and courteous to every customer. The food is very good and the drinks are very reasonable. There's plenty of seats at the bar and the bar and service staff is fast and friendly. Hope you have the same experience!

Good food, love their seafood chowder, their fish and chips. Over all great food. The reason I rated it a 3 was because of the noise level. With so many windows and hard surfaces it is way too loud, I've noticed this the last 3 times I've been there, I would rather go to there other locations.

Foods good but it's nothing special an average night out. Nothing to be thrilled about. They do have a waterfront location in the summer which is great for a drink outside and some live music.

Food is good service is good but they don't give you bread unless you ask for it and meals only come with a potato but not a vegetable, which is kind of cheap on their part. Tuna salad is great but way overpriced at 10 change.burgers are awesome. Since they took the carpets out restaurant is way too loud to enjoy yourself. On top of that they have music playing too loud too. They took out all the booths along the side that anyone could use to sit in and replaced them with high bar seats that children and elderly people cannot sit in. I do like the food but I had a headache by the time I left because of the loudness.

Great burgers, love the Reuben and the tuna melt. Friendly service, plenty of room at the bar, a good selection of happy hour food specials.
