Chili's Grill & Bar reviews
18Went here for curbside to go and order was made timely and all items were correct and hot. Person bringing out the food was courteous too.
I guess they were in between shifts, we were seated but no one came to take our order.a guy who was cleaning tables help us get our order.then we had to find someone to pay our bill
I was disappointed they def changed alot since the last time i went in. I dont like the fact that u gotta scan the tag on ur phone to see a menu. I also was disappointed we couldnt sit at the bar and have a drink while we wait for a seat. And the last thing the waiters should be more aware of whats behind the bar alot more if there gonna serve the lq
The waitress I had with very efficient she did not come over every 2 minutes to ask me if I needed anything. That is something I appreciate while I'm trying to have my meal or cocktail so keep up the good work besides that the place was clean and everyone was pretty friendly.
Not a big fan of Chili's (food kind of pricey) but the service this server provided and the birthday song for/to my nephew - and the fact that when I asked about the option that could fill me up and he gave me a good option really made my day.
This place used to be better. Ordered takeout online, ordered bowl of clam chowder, two triple dippers and a mix and match trio fajita. So first they didn’t not communicate with us that they didn’t have any clam chowder and sent a cup of another soup thinking we wouldn’t notice.then when I went out of my car and inside to ask about the clam chowder. There reply was to give me a gift card instead of refunding me for the clam chowder. Then when we got home, we noticed there was no flour tortillas for the mix and match trio fajita.trying to eat the fajita with all of the toppings with out the tortilla, it’s just not the same and shouldn’t happen. Couldn’t even enjoy it or finish the fajita. Very poorly done on all food. Hoping to Find a better and different location.
Appetizers came out like 20 seconds after we ordered it.we barely touched that food that was prepared who knows when.tasted old and not fresh, absolutely nothing like when we went years ago and it was made to order.
Dinner was. 02% better.
Basically gave away my money, my family all agreed that we'll never ever go back there again.
I went with my family and they make us wait more than an hour. When i went to check again they say is because we were about 10. And they wanted sitting us in 2 tables. We ended leaving the place very disappointed. We requested to talk to the supervisor but he never showed up.
The Buffalo chicken sandwich was terrible very spongy and just didn’t taste like real chicken at all! I couldn’t eat it at all.
Sitting in a not too busy restaurant with a good 40 minute wait, we asked to be seated at the bar for drinks but were told we couldn't, the bartender was too busy making drinks for the people dining. Very clearly understaffed, be prepared for a decent wait when coming
Edit: A couple who came in LONG after us were seated before us. I have a sneaking suspicion it's because they know someone here. They were talking about knowing someone.
I typically love Chili's. We arrive at 8: 35p on a Saturday night. We walk in and look around to see 8-10 clean empty tables, as well as a few empty tables in need of bussing/cleaning. I tell the hostess we are a party of 3. She says that there are 4 parties ahead of us. I say that's fine. She then says we won't be seated for at least 45 minutes. In amazement, I say "45 minutes? There are at least 8 open tables. "
She is wearing a face mask and is a little tough to understand with the noise of the other folks waiting in the lobby, but it sounds like she said "we can't sit anyone near the windows". They have parties already sitting near windows, so this doesn't make sense.but I look into the bar and there are empty seats at the bar and a couple bar area tables.
I say "well the bar is open seating right? Like we can just grab a seat and get drinks. "
She says "no. We only have one bartender on and she has to make the drinks for the whole restaurant. " My head spun.when does a restaurant with a bar EVER not seat people at open seats AT THE BAR?
It was 2.5 hours before their closing time, so it wasn't like we showed up expecting service as they were cleaning and shutting down.
I told the hostess that was the most ridiculous thing I've heard at a restaurant and we'd find another place to go.
Fortunately, in this neighborhood in Providence, I remembered there was a fantastic restaurant called Tortilla Flats. Chili's couldn't touch their drinks, food or service.
What happened to MELANIE I was there twice an Melanie was a new waitress she was fantastic, good smile very pleasant an accommodating.didn’t mess up my order like some of the other. I’m disappointed that she’s not there any more, but I can understand why. She was most efficient an experienced to be working at chilies,
I would just like to know why the hours are advertised open till 11pm but the staff locks the doors 45 minutes before close. Bad business practices:
Worst experience ever, long wait for a table then long way for a serve, horrible experience, I wouldn't come to that chillis never again
We went to the place and the area looks very clean. The guy that took the order was very friendly. When we order the food did not took long to arrived. The food was very hot and delicious. Nice place to go and eat.
Update: 6/19/21 Worst chili's visit ever. Tough to make reservations at 2 stores, app didn't allow it. This one the whole beer draft system has been down for days. Their Wi-Fi doesn't work and Verizon cellular has zero reception. Couldn't even access a menu. Sandwich was missing half the items on it. Server and manager not very apologetic and didn't seem to care, feels like they chalked it up to short staff. Place was seated quite well for short staff. This location has been going downhill steadily, but figured we give them one last try. Old review, 3 years ago: All was excellent. Chips and queso and burgers tasty. Place looking good after a recent remodel.
I just left and the service was terrible. All of my families food can out besides mine they took an hour and 30 minutes just for a kids pasta. My aunts pasta was dry and my pasta was not cooked properly, hair at the bottom on the pasta mixed in with the noodles, I didn’t like it at all. I ended up not paying Anything. 1 star.
I don't know what happened to Chili's. Before covid, the ckn crisper dinner was pretty damn good. That was the only thing i ordered. Ckn crispers were plump and really good. This week we had 5,5 1/2 ckn tenders or 2 & 1/2 full tenders that it used to be. They cut them in 1/2 or they are frozen in 1/2, and not anything like they used to be. Dried out. Only the 2 of us and not busy and my husband got fries instead of mashed as he asked. Waitress said she messed up. We don't want to go back
