Coastal Medical - East Greenwich Primary Care reviews
16 Very efficient office with kind staff.
It would have been nice medical assistant to introduce themselves to make patient feel like a person
The waiting room is always clean and pleasant. The girls are helpful and so courteous. Very rarely have a long wait but when I am with Dr Hubbard I never feel rushed and I know she is listening to me.
Lab Service on a Saturday is the worst. Long waiting times, cumbersome process, unreasonable idle time. Lifespan must have really screwed up this process.
Arrived approximately 10 minutes early for my yearly appointment, was greeted promptly and courteously for weigh in and blood pressure check. My doctor came in very shortly thereafter and went over results of blood work. She then went over some health recommendations and a suggestion or two for vaccines. Everything went extremely smoothly, and I will return in a year for my next visit. Love this practice.
Dr. Liz gave great advice. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. I appreciate the great advice and the quick attention.
Thanks again,
Tom
This practice and Dr. Somvanshi is a new provider for me. I could not be more pleased or have more confidence in my experience.
Bravo to Dr. Somanchi, her Medical Assistant Jack!
I always forward to the Doctor, (Even when I an sick.).
They know me and always make me feel truly cared about.
Dr. Somvanchi is thorough and follows up every care and concern that I may have.
The front office team is also kind and.cordial.
Dr Muse and his assistant Kendra have provided us with very timely and personalized treatment. Kendra has been fantastic and timely in all our exchanges. The texting service that they use to communicate is effective, convenient and immediate. It has been so helpful when we needed assistance. Highly recommend their services for concussion treatment.
I have been a patient of this office for many years. The past 4-ish years this office care has changed for the worst, especially since becoming Lifespan. I have been diagnosed improperly in the past year for obvious strep and just recently an obvious sinus infection. Both times I had to seek care somewhere else. Both times the situations needed antibiotics. When I was tested for strep the tech swabbed the back of my tongue, not my throat. Of course it was negative. I was told it's viral by the covering provider (keep in mind, very obvious white patches all over my tonsils and incredibly sore throat) and sent home. I suffered for three more days before going to seek care elsewhere. More recently I had a cold, that then changed to very thick green phlegm, head pain, congestion and over all feeling lousy. I waited it out. But, it continued to get worse. I called my primary and received care from her coverage. A quick check of the ears, throat and lungs. I was told my phlegm is thick because I'm not drinking enough and that bacteria takes 10-14 days to grow. I was told it's viral and was asked if I was ok with that answer by the provider. Simply put I said I guess I will have to be.
I realize that over using antibiotics is an issue and we are trying to get away from over prescribing them. But, when they are warranted, why are they gate keeping them? I have wasted time off from work, co-pays for these visits and then for outside providers to get proper care. I am not someone who runs to the Dr. With every complaint. I go when I know I need care. I otherwise treat myself as I know I should, especially as a 20+ nurse.
It is unfortunate, but I will be looking for another primary care office where hopefully I can depend on my provider to be around more often and their providers coverage to do a thorough job and provide proper care.
Great care and care staff very efficient and understanding of what medical issues you have. Very thorough and knowledgeable with my illness. Love going and feel comfortable at costal medical
It was only a short time after arrival that I met with the physician. Staff were polite and open to questions. The doctor was thorough, listened well, have options, and respected my decisions.
I have been a Coastal Medical patient for 10+ years and with Dr Kristin Hubbard for most of that time. Coastal has done a spectacular job implementing and maintaining a "patient centered" model, with the primary care Physican in the lead and able to coordinate across a wealth of specialists to make complicated care, easy.
Dr. Hubbard is a gem. She is extremely knowledgeable, capable and resourceful. Mostly I appreciate her style. She listens, coaches, encourages and is sincere in her partnering to help me achieve my health goals.
The facility, the staff, & especially my P. C.were really terrific. I felt safe, comfortable & very pleased with my care. Thank you!
Excellent front desk team. Excellent triage prior to the doctor entering the rrom. Dr. Somvanchi is warm and approachable, knowledgeable, and caring. I never feel rushed and always feel heard.
The service and professionalism at every level was top-notch. I didn't have to wait for any reason and everyone was helpful.
This practice is very efficient and professional. Everyone is actively engaged in doing their job well. The patient care team takes their time and they are genuinely interested in your concerns. I am especially impressed with follow-up questions; it is clear that they are listening. The care is thorough.
