Coffee & Cream reviews
17So we have been here a few times food is good but always arrives on the cool side temperature-wise we were her on Sun 3/5 for my birthday there were 8 of us our server was an amazing young lady named MAY I believe she had a great smile and very personable we truly enjoyed her however the most impressive thing about MAY was she did not need to write done say of our orders (which were all different btw) and she did not mess up.a thing next visit we hope to have MAY as our server again
Truly amazing. Coffee & Cream is where my husband and I love to grab breakfast on the weekends. We recently had them cater my sister in laws baby shower and the food was outstanding. You get a ton of food for your money. Specifically, we got bacon, sausage, home fries, and veggie frittatas. Everyone was beyond impressed with the food. Thank you Coffee & Cream!
I went there with my grandma and younger cousin. We had a little wait but after ten minutes we were able to be seated. Once we sat down we ordered almost right away as we already knew what we wanted when we came in. Now, I work in a restaurant and I know things can happen and that mistakes can be made. However, we waited over 45 minutes for a breakfast bowl, an omelet and two pancakes. We saw other people being served before us. Our waitress finally comes back over and informs us they dropped my grandmothers omelet and that the kitchen had to "remake it". After another fifteen minutes our food finally comes out. My breakfast bowl was cold, as if it had been sitting there and not under a heater. It was straight up cold. My grandmas omelet was not an omelet, it was a frittata cooked well done and not at all what she ordered. It looked like they just served her the omelet that the kitchen dropped. (my little cousins pancakes were fine).
Besides the disgusting food and long wait time we had an alright experience. Our waitress was nice and friendly and she took our food (and drinks!) off our bill which I thought was very thoughtful. However I will not be returning to coffee and cream. Beware
So good! Even though I don't currently live in NS, it's worth the drive. Prices are better than most other places and food is more delicious!
Food was amazing. I got the blueberry muffin, avocado toast, and apple juice, my mom got scrambled eggs, cinnamon bun French toast, and fresh squeezed orange juice. The customer service was great and I definitely recommend going here. I love the decorations, the design and the lighting is beautiful for pictures.
Great food and fast service once you're inside and seated. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was for the 40 minute wait in the freezing cold. I don't mind waiting but if it were my business I would at least put a heater in the waiting room for those willing to wait. I recommend
Our favorite breakfast spot. The specials are always great and the service is even better. Kate and Lilly are our favorite servers. Make sure you ask for them! I’m always amazed by the cleanliness of the restaurant and the all over atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and visit you won’t be disappointed
I decided to give this place another shot, after previous poor experience, third times a charm right? Nope! I should have just left after they brought me creamer that looked like it had been taken out of the trash. When I showed the waitress she said oh, coffee had just been spilled on it… But did not even offer to replace the creamers…then the wrong sandwich was brought out with undercooked potatoes! Just over all a poor experience! Good luck to those who continue to go.
Tost was cold and hard with grill droppings, more grill dropping on patios, asked for jelly, didn't get it. We always had a good Meals before, we won't be back.
My how the mighty hath fallen. Location & Food are garbage. The tables have glass on them that doesn’t fit & wobbles as a result. Waitress knowingly delivered cold food…bleh I won’t say any more other than stay away. There’s plenty of other places that have replaced this old community staple.
Super good! People are nice, good food and nice atmosphere. Only down side is that there's usually a wait: (
First time, came to have brunch with family, we recieved our food our meals were over cooked our homefries were hockey pucks, bacon was overkilled, our eggs were over cooked an fried pancakes undercooked ️. Found out it was almost closing time we arrived at 1: 10. I love food and trying new places, nice atmosphere but if you want well done over cooked food and barely any service this is the place to go. Id Recommend The Village Cafe in Chepatchet RI.
Nice atmosphere, attentive servers, food ok, nothing exceptional for breakfast, usual fare but I was VERY disappointed in getting the bill and seeing I was "" up charged" for Italian toast? Server never told us extra charge for not only that toast but also EXTRA CHARGE FOR ONIONS IN HOMEFRIES!? COME ON- be sure n ask about everything or you will get a surprise that's not so nice. I'm sure they'll start charging for the jelly next! I had high hopes for this place but certainly not like it was when located at the original place on the corner next to beef barn. The prices have certainly gone up, the food is good but I guess they gotta pay for the new location and add fees onto everything! Not sure if we'll be back. Hard to find a real hometown, inexpensive breakfast place. Everything is blamed on covid. Ya, ok. Keep your prices decent and you'll get MORE PATRONS- DUHHHHH
Wonderful little restaurant.
I'm from out of state and came here for the first time to have brunch with my mom. Everything was good.service phenomenal, food very good, the hot chocolate was tasty, bathroom was clean.we even came close to closing time, and a waitress said we were welcome to take our time. I would love to come here again.
I went 5 years ago when I was younger and the food was amazing! Even after the fire and having to relocate they have kept up their excellent standards! Their portion sizes are VERY generous and the pancakes were yummy. Most items come with toast and hashbrowns (the kind that are like diced potatoes). Prices was nice at about 7-10 per plate and you really get more than you may for! Service was wonderful and our waitress was very polite, casual and friendly. Thank you for breakfast!
In my book anyplace is a great place that serves eggs Benedict. The fact that you can also get a bloody Mary or a mimosa as well is the frosting on the cake
Great food. Excellent service. Reasonably priced. The only minor negative was that our waitress asked us if we wanted onions in our home fries. He said sure not realizing that it was 85 cents extra. Which would have been fine except they were sweet and didn't seem to fit with the home fries.
