Comfort Suites West Warwick - Providence

It smells like mold & mildew asa you walk in. Room was dirty. I checked in & checked right back out.

The pool is closed indefinitely, the website should be updated to remove this amenity. The smell of pot was overwhelming as soon as we stepped off the elevator. The finisher for us was we went into our room, put our bags down, opened the bathroom door and there was a cockroach running across the floor! We picked up our bags and checked out. It’s not a wonder why they don’t give refunds. Very disappointed with the whole thing. Especially having to pay over $100 to basically use the elevator and leave.

Stayed there a month ago, pool was out of service but wasn't mentioned on there website. We booked two nights cause it had a pool and spa. Place smelled like cigarette smoke and I can see why when we checked out the lady behind the counter was smoking a e-cigarette. Now I don't know this states law but my state has a non-smoking in any public places.

The first room had no internet. They gave us a different room with a refrigerator that made a constant clicking sound and a window we could not see out of and a moisture mark on the ceiling. We stayed three days. The pool was never open and there was no breakfast. Enough said.

Nice little place that serves breakfast in the morning. Staff is very nice, courteous, always willing to help you. They have a pretty decent breakfast in the morning, a gym is available on demand, an inside pool that was not in use when I was there. Only hiccup is the restaurant staff obsessed with spraying chemical on everything for cleaning. They are probably still on pandemic mode. Other than that, the place is fine.

Stayed 10-21-22. Love this hotel and would stay again. Very clean. The hotel staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Room was great. Great location. Waffles are good too.

The bed was ok and towels were clean. The room was spacious. The receptionist was friendly at check in. The toilet and the shower were not clean. The elevator and the floor smelled like cigarettes. The pool was out of service. They should take the pool off the list of amenities since from reading previous review it has been closed for months very miss leading for parents who book hotels with pool for the kids.

Decent location. Older hotel and furniture but seems to be maintained just fine. Room clean. Bed is comfy. Plenty of room. Friendly staff however black out curtains didn’t cover the window, had to go to three ice machines before I found one that worked, and toilet ran all night long. Nothing major, just can’t say everything was perfect. Would def stay here again

Nice room. Very clean and front desk staff was very pleasant. Plenty of restaurants within short drive. Good girl breakfast

The pool was "closed until further notice" even though that was never disclosed on the website. After driving 7 hours with back issues, that's the one thing I was looking forward to, so huge unacceptable disappointment there. Water in the shower and sink was lukewarm at best the first two days until maintenance fixed the issue, but then never fully closed my room door leaving full access for anyone to walk in my room while I was out! There's basically one working light in the front parking lot which had me worrying about the security of my vehicle and my own safety for my entire weekend stay. On top of everything, the coffee in the breakfast room tasted like somebody basically brewed dirt, and weak at that! Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely be staying elsewhere.

Room was nice but it didn't have basic things like shampoo, soap or tissues when we arrived. Breakfast was minimal on the first morning. We went at 9: 00 a.m. And there was no hot food or yogurt left, (except make your own waffles). It was suppose to go until 10: 00 a.m.

Breakfast disappointing. No syrup for Belgium waffle, juice dispenser broken, Lady did her best.
Hotel put of many things and 3 ice machines broken. Out of kleenex for rooms.
Personnel were great but lack of supplies degraded our vacation.
My wife and I bought syrup and bagels and left them there for others to use.

This stay was a little disappointing. When we first arrived the front desk staff was very friendly. When we went to our room the door was ajar so we went in cautiously but it was all clear. There was however a big toenail up by the pillow on my bed. They switched our rooms. The new room was clean enough but there were stains on the carpet and bedding. Both locks on the door were broken and the exhaust fan was also broken. One of the big reasons we booked this hotel was because it had a pool. The pool wasn’t open so that was unfortunate. The breakfast was mediocre and has several missing item such as Cream cheese but no bagels and waffles but no syrup, ect. The person restocking the breakfast bar was pretty rude to my friend when she asked about the syrup. On the plus side the front desk was super friendly and accommodating and the cleaning staff had great customer service. My take away is that it seemed like a struggling hotel that couldn’t keep up with basic maintenance or keeping the kitchen stocked.

Friendly staff but incredibly unclean. Our room 424 was musty and still dirty from previous guest. We found roaches in our room at 1am and left as early as possible. We were also given a double room when we has booked a king. We will not be back again did not get what we paid for, for $250 for one night.

Decent hotel in need of some TLC and ongoing maintenance.

This is one of the newer hotels but it hasn’t been maintained well. With that said - the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quiet and I saw zero bugs. What I did see were stains, items in disrepair, the beginning of mold in the bathroom and lots of things like doors that needed to be cleaned better or painted where luggage and/or shoes had rubbed against them.

All the staff was very friendly to me and I felt generally safe. It’s a funny contrast to see several folks in the back area from a wedding party to several guys drinking and smoking right outside the side entrance. Even funnier was the fact the wedding party viewed me like an intruder and the guys hanging out by the side entrance were from the South (like me) and we had a grand time cutting up.

If you’re going to stay here - check the most recent reviews and be prepared to understand that they have long-term guests who work in the area from out of town plus your regular hotel guests. It’s a bit of a mixed bag but like I said - decent hotel and I had zero problems.

Towels smell musty, stains all over carpet, someones left over chips on floor, can't see out of the windows. It's not the WORST hotel I've stayed in but I wouldn't come back.

Been here over 40 times. Lately noticed property has gone downhill. Pool has been closed for 2 years. Front desk has no drinks or snacks available. Public areas get dirty and stay that way for 24 hours with no clean up. Breakfast is mediocre. Today they had no butter. No one can go to Costco and buy butter? If price of the room was lower, I would recommend. Otherwise.skip this place.
