Cranston Diner

Typical diner. Large menu. Three rooms so lots of seating. Eggs Benedict were just ok. Eggs were slightly undercooked. Muffins were toasted but could be crispier. Potatoes were crispy but still soft inside and no added surprises (no onions or peppers. I like them that way.). Service was quick and prices were average.

The waitresses are really nice. The food was okay. And the prices were good probably go back again and see some of the other things on the menu better

I haven’t been here in years, I think the last time I was here was at the old location. But the restaurant was redone very nicely, it has plenty of seating between the dining room and the counter area. The staff were all very nice and attentive. I even watched some waitresses leave the restaurant to help some elderly patrons get inside. The menu is what you would expect to see at a food breakfast spot. They had good prices and a good selection of options. I had the homemade hash in the “Irish omelette” it was very good. I loved the toast. All in all a great breakfast location. Look forward to our next visit.

Breakfast and Lunch place only open from 6: 30 'til 2: 00. Daily specials, check the chalk board on the way in to grab an open booth or table. Fish and Chips on Wednesday and Friday. It IS Rhode Island after all. Moderate prices on an extensive menu. They've turned the lights on in the back room. Guess COVID is gone now.

Soggy toast and my orange juice was missing from my order. Toast should be wrapped separately since it arrives gross and soggy when packed with hot food.

Great place! Diner is immaculate and clean. We were greeted promptly and with a smile. Our server was attentive to our needs, especially with two little boys under 5. Wife got the eggs Benny and I got the federal hill omelet, Kids got the Mickey Mouse pancake with bacon which they were able to add chocolate chips to. Everything was flavorful and fresh. We would highly recommend! We will be back again and again!

Food was hot but I'll say this time and time again. Packaging in our current post covid World is the most important thing! The packaging was a mess, the hollandaise was spilled and in Styrofoam. Restaurants should be trying to move away from Styrofoam for both their own benefit due to how it effects food quality and the trash build up it causes. The plastic lidded black containers. Far superior.

Food tasted good overall though. Even great I'd say. But I've found better, I'll give it another shot in the Future.

I paid 40 dollars for a waffle and they sent no syrup. I called the store and the First Lady hung up on me and then they took the food off the hook. Someone finally answered the phone and said there is nothing they could do. Very poor customer service and I will not be ordering from them again. I have a dry waffle. This is inexcusable.

The Federal Hill Omelette is phenomenal! The chef is a genius as he spread all the veggies in the omelette through the egg! Amazing taste and great customer service. You will not be disappointed.

We went for Father's Day. Nice selection on the menu and large portion sizes. We all chose a breakfast selection. The home fries were delicious.

Wait for it, wait…. Wait some more. Be ready by 10: 03,10: 13- wait, went to go get flour for pancakes from a grocery store? Good food if you have the time

Very nice people and their homemade corned beef hash is the best I have ever had.

I wonder if they can make a marble-rye Reuben?

I don't know when was the last time they cleaned the waffle maker, it's gross and screaming for all kind of food poisoning. The employees don't care either.

Had the best service, sincere smiles and made us feel very welcome. I ordered the meatlover omelette and the portion is just right. The side of potatoes had a delicious seasoning and I paired it with raisin toast. Also ordered the stuffed french toast and it did not disappoint. My husband had the eggs benedict and he left his plate clean. Highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

So I just had lunch at this place for the 1st time. I was served by Sydney. I asked for a cheeseburger only. I got and was charged for a complete meal. I asked if I'd be charged for the fries I did not want or order. Got charged anyway. And she told me that there's no button for just a cheeseburger, so I said, "So that means I pay for things I didn't want or order or eat and she said. Yes! I will never come back to this place again! $13 for just a cheeseburger! Oh, and the manager was not here.how convenient.
