Days Inn by Wyndham Middletown/Newport Area

No evidence of pests.
Clean beds, sheets, towels, bathroom.
Quiet area. If you need a place that is very affordable and near Newport this is a great option.
I will be coming back here again to rest after my fishing trips

The room was filthy. Hair on the bathroom floor, on top of the toilet and on the shower wall. The in room phone was not working and when I hung up the receiver I saw the filth on the earpiece that is still making me gag. Got zero call back from the evidently extremely busy "manager". I wanted money off but because of their inaction I will just have the CC company fight it out with them.btw, if you are on the first floor hold onto your hat if upstairs flushes their toilet. The walls, like many places, are paper thin.

Finally got to Rhode Island from Madison Wisconsin where we dropped a boat off that we brought from Florida on our own trailer. We're here to pick up another to take it back down to Florida. Found this hotel on a whim and boy what a nice hotel! The guy that checked us in was very nice. We got her early afternoon, which we were able to turn around our f-550 with a 43 ft boat trailer behind it. The room was super clean and up to our standards. Sometimes you don't have a lot of choice when you're pulling a 43 ft trailer behind your truck. This was a hidden gem!
When we're in the area again we would definitely stay here!
Keep in mind, we travel from Maine to Wisconsin Oklahoma Southern Texas the Gulf States the East Coast up and down as we deliver boats. We stay in A LOT of hotels. This is one of the nicest ones!

I needed to place the spend the night and do some laundry. And that's not always easy to find. The room is comfortable and had everything I needed not luxury but good value.

Clean and quiet, decent location. 10-15 minute drive to downtown Newport and the mansions. Nice, friendly staff. Can’t complain!

Stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel is a little dated but for the price it is not too shabby. Other hotels in the area are considerably more per night and I have no real complaints with this place. The only thing I could say is maybe more breakfast options would be nice. As of this stay aside from the waffles it’s all continental fare. The rooms seem to be recently updated and they are cozy. Front desk is very accommodating and the other staff are friendly as well. Location is nice as well. 20 minutes or less drive to most attractions.

They are thieves who asked me to repay the room during Check in while the amount was debited at the time of booking on Booking. Even showing them the resa Booking and the debit, they didn't want to know anything! To flee!

Do not stay here! I was delayed and could not contact them during as I was flying so when I arrived after 20hours of travel my room was cancelled but they kept my money then said I would have to pay again to use the room. Save your money and stay somewhere else

Economical for the price. If you are out and about you should stay here. No need to spend an extra $100 elsewhere. This place was just fine. Bathrooms are quite nice.
