Dr. DeGiulio & Associates, Warwick RI

Dr. DeGulio is truly a kind woman. She wasn’t intimidating or cold, she was very kind and so personable. She showed me my eye photos on the monitor she uses and explain why my past Dr may have said what he said about my eye. I left feeling comfortable and seen.

Amazing office front staff helpful and knowledgeable doctor is amazing and informative also great bedside manor interested in me and my family life felt like she really cared

Edit 2023: This is a convenient place to get prescriptions if you're a LensCrafters customer, but I can't recommend it for acute eye care. Leaving aside that the doctor I saw for a second opinion literally said "I'm going to fix this, " they don't keep antibiotics or even artificial tears on hand to treat illness/injury. They also refuse the reasonable accommodation of trying to call in your prescription because the pharmacy 'might not answer the phone, ' even if you request it.

I understand that corporatized healthcare is hostile to healthcare practitioners too, but we all have to survive here somehow. If a practitioner doesn't want to do something like calling in a rx for an injured patient, then they should be sent someplace else. Pharmacy staff wanted to call an ambulance because at that point my eyes were sealed shut lol. Like anaphylactic level of swollen shut, it was wild not to mention excruciating being in bright fluorescent lights when I could have had the rx delivered to my home if they had bothered to call it in. Plus the extra expense with an unnecessary rideshare trip. Plus the extra expenses incurred by having the injury exacerbated by the unnecessary exposure. Fortunately my friend could afford to take off work to fetch me or I would have had a nastier bill there too.

So if you have an eye illness or injury, do yourself a favor and find a different office that is equipped for, experienced with, and actually interested in treating it. I was fortunate enough to have someone nearby to assist me with that. I hope you are too.

If you use a large wheelchair or cannot walk a few steps to transfer seats, you'll want to find someplace else though. Maneuvering is quite tight.

Doesn’t take vsp when my insurance said they did, also did not listen when I said I didn’t want certain tests.

I really enjoy my routine eye exams with Dr. DeGiulio. Aside from her obvious expertise, she is so personable, makes you feel welcome, and gives you her full attention. Based on her comments and questions, it's obvious that she makes a point of checking your file before each appointment. That personal touch goes a long way! Thank you!

This was my first eye exam in many years. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the entire staff was excellent!

Easy first time check-in by allowing you to submit information online prior; pleasant, friendly and efficient staff; clean and neat office and Dr. Brianna Hacker was awesome, explaining everything in great detail and listening to all my questions, even making suggestions as to what I could do to solve my issues. Will definitely go back there and recommend to friends.

Doctor was pleasant, courteous, and thorough. He answered all my questions and gave me a recommendation of what type of eyewear to purchase

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. DeGiulio is very knowledgeable and she took the time to do a thorough exam and talk to me about the results. They have modern equiptment and everything was very clean. I've been going there for a couple years and I recommend her to anyone looking for an optomistist.

Everyone was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Dr. DeGiulio explained what each test was looking for as she did them and showed me images of my eye on the monitor and explained how they determined if the eye was healthy or not. I really appreciated that. She also took the time to look up prices of my new contact lenses when I asked about cost, instead of just telling me to ask up front. Would defiantly recommend them to my friends!

Dr. Scott Hacker was great and very friendly. I showed up a little early and was seen ASAP. My appointment went smoothly & quickly. No complaints.
