Can't recommend this storage unit facility. Rate was doubled (a 100% increase) after only 2 & 1/2 months. In addition, I stopped by one morning and one of the main rolling doors was wide open during a rain storm. Rented a unit that was "climate controlled" but find that hard to believe with the doors being left open and rain and humidity being let into the units. I wouldn't store anything valuable here as it's likely to get damaged due to this. Not sure how they can continue to rent units promised to be "climate controlled" yet subject to rain/humidity/moisture. Moved out and into another facility.

I’d give no stars if I could. I’ve rented a unit here for three months and my rate was just doubled due to “market increases”. I understand small increases but doubling feels more like bait and switch. I’d recommend not renting here unless you’re ok with the price increasing right after you’ve moved everything in. They’re still renting the same size units for the lower price online. You agree to price increases but this is just too much. Plus, it’s not very clean or safe, the gate is often times wide open, and there’s never anyone there to help when you need something from the office.

There’s never a cart available, the storage doors are heavy and get stuck lifting, definitely a downgrade from my previous storage but the price is ok

I am storing items that are priceless, cherished memories and photos. I am confident they will be safe there. A little difficult finding my unit, but am, over all, pleased

I'm extremely disappointed with Extra Space Storage. They recently raised their prices without proper notice or warning, which is a direct violation of the terms of our contract. When I called to ask about the price increase, I was met with terrible customer service. The representative was unfriendly and unwilling to help me in any way.

In addition to the price increase, the storage facility was not properly maintained. There were issues with secured gate, that constantly would break and have to be left open. It was concerning that anyone could gain access to the facility when it was advertised as secured storage. When I tried to get in touch with customer service to address these issues, it was impossible to reach anyone. They rarely answered the phone, and when they did, they were unhelpful and dismissive.

Overall, I would not recommend this storage unit company to anyone. They raised their prices without proper notice, did not follow the terms of our contract, provided terrible customer service, and were impossible to get in touch with. Save yourself the trouble and find a different storage unit company that values its customers and follows its contractual obligations.
