Eye Care For RI

I wasn’t going to write a review but unfortunately my conscience would not leave me alone. I went for an examine last week and I have to honestly say I did not find the office, equipment or staff taking enough precautions for my safety during this covid pandemic. The person giving the examine could not keep her mask from coming down off her nose and kept pulling it up. The machine was not clean and had visible smudges and dust had accumulated where you place your chin and lean forward to read the letters. She did not wear gloves at anytime during the examine. I kept my mask on but I left with a very uneasy feeling. I never saw anyone use hand sanitizer. Nor did I see any for public use.

Just called to get an appointment and the “answering service” picked up the phone. What an unpleasant and unprofessional individual. Employees like that tarnish your image and evidently your business has a sterling reputation. I will keep looking for places. Thanks.

Excellent! The doctor, medical staff and the ladies in the section where you pick out glasses were great. Very professional and kind. The front staff could use a little bit of training on customer service. However, I am in the same line of work and know how frustrating it can be! The front gets the brunt as I always say.

Dr. Kelley is great. Listens, helps you find the right solution (and mine was difficult!) A great office, friendly staff.

Everyone at Eye Care For RI was very friendly & professional (they really seem to love what they do). They are extremely well organized & everything is scheduled out to the minute (when a snowstorm was forecasted for the date of my surgery, they even called me to move my surgery time up! Now that’s Service!).
Dr. Collins explained everything in detail & was extremely reassuring of his capabilities regarding my cataract surgery. He is an extremely compassionate Dr.with exceptional relational skills.
And the best part; he did exactly what he said he would - he restored my eyesight!
I can not recommend Eye Care For RI or Dr. Collins enough!

GREAT! I didn't know what to expect being a new patient and not having been to an Eye Doctor in 15yrs or more. Dr. Kelley III only had to tweek my prescription. Not only is Dr. Kelley III the best but his staff in all departments were right on top, over the top. Mike Scallin

Was seen at exactly the appointment time. Was able to update my prescription (both glasses and contact lenses) as well as purchase glasses.

After my exam with Dr. Collins, which is always with competent care, I saw someone at the eyeglass canter for repairs to my sunglasses. She was very helpful. It was a pleasure working with her. A few days later I returned, as one of the arms on my regular glass had broken. Again. Excellent, caring care from the other woman at the center. Excellent!

Not a place that is handicap friendly. Everything is stationary except chairs which are on wheels making it very dangerous for handicap patients. Rooms are as small as you average bathroom. Staff seem friendly enough. Will not be going back

This was my first time going to Eye Care of RI. Everyone was very thorough and loved Dr. Kelly! He was very kind and knowledgeable. Will definitely return.

This place is great. My family and I were visiting from New Jersey for our annual vacation trip. On the first morning, I realized I did not pack enough contacts for the trip and got really nervous. I went to multiple eye doctors who said they could not get the contacts in time. Finally, I called this place and they said that if me doctor faxed my prescription, they might be able to help. When my doctor finally faxed my prescription, they helped me right away and got me what I needed quickly. The person who helped me was named Mary and was excellent. They were more helpful the my eye doctor. They helped me tremendously.

Good experience for the first time, it was what I was hoping for after a not so good experience at a previous Eye Care Organization. Thank You Dr. Collins and staff.

Appointments run on time. Courteous, friendly, competent staff.
Reasonably priced optical shop. Doctor explained everything. It was my second visit and now has become my permanent eye care place.

Professional and support staff are the best! The technology is amazing and shortens the time of routine visits. Outstanding care!

This office is the most pleasant well run office I have ever visited. Patients run through his busy office with graceful flow. Dr Collins cares for his patients and it's obvious his staff reflects his caring image. It is rare to find this in the medical field.

They were very professional and very attentive. My glasses broke while I was there and they fixed them no charge. Thanks again

My appointment turned out to be the Best appointment I ever had at an Eye Doctor. Everything went smooth. I was waited on quickly and processed quickly and I was finished a lot quicker than I had expected. Great Doctor and Staff. I am Very Glad My Sister Recommended "Eye Care For RI" to me.
