Famous Pizza, North Scituate RI

Stopped by on our way home. Interesting place with great stories in the artwork around. Was not very busy so we had a chance to hear some. My grinder was very good.the roll was just how it should be.

Very dirty cant even see out the windows food for 4 people (just give me 50) it was more than that don't understand great location someone could have a gold mine but for now its a toilet so sad

Good thin crust pizza. Cupping pepperoni is delish and old school. A little over priced but delicious when eaten right out of the oven.

First time caller asking first for one item on menu (didn’t have), then second (also didn’t have). While pausing to decide what to order instead, they HUNG UP! This close neighbor will NEVER be a customer now.

Famous for what? Maybe cause it’s the only place in town, but if you are hungry I advise driving a little further. First off they were out of Turkey, so I ordered a regular grinder instead. The guy who made it just came in from smoking a cigarette outside. Gross. Talk about the worlds smallest grinder! Very very small bread! Flavor was ok. Too much oil and the onions were very strong like they were old. I will not be back. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting also… all around dirty place. Do not eat here

Not the cleanest pizza place, but our grinders were good. Wish they had sautéed onions and peppers. The guys behind the counter were friendly. Also, it was a Sunday afternoon and they had wrasslin' on instead of football!

The only reason we stopped in this place was because we took a long trip into connecticut. On our way back hunger got the best of us and we stopped here let me start by saying this place is a dump. I'm amazed it hasn't been closed by the health inspector. We order the pizza and the dough was raw.

Rhode Island Native but I’ve Been in Nevada for two years, Was in town for a golf event and saw the sign and just had to stop. How can you not stop at a place called famous pizza. The man working was awesome, we had a great conversation as he made the pizza right in front of my eyes. I didn’t catch your name sir, but if you see this, you were right! That’s the best pepperoni pizza I’ve had. They don’t make it like that out west. Thank you! I’ll stop by next time im in town.

I had the most delicious chicken grinder. I hate I didn't take a picture. I can't wait to come back and try your pizza.

Went on a day trip to see family and stopped on the way home for a quick dinner. It's one of those places, you could just tell walking in that it was going to be good pizza. It was so good, so cheesey, and came out fast and hot. Plus three drinks and a large pizza was only $21. Wish we lived closer.

Make sure you know what you want before you call in your order. They made it very clear that they don’t have time for you otherwise.

Walked in cook was touching everything in the place including money with his gloves on then making pizza with the same gloves

Good Greek style pizza, been going there for a few years, they produce between 5&3 stars so I gave them 4 as an average

1976 was the first of many visits to Famous Pizza. It was the only pizza my family would order and we lived 25 min away in Chepachet at the time. Richie was a great conscientious owner. Consistency of the quality was important to him and what kept us coming in. Even after I grew up and had a family of my own and moved away we would come back as much as possible. Last week stopped for lunch and last night for dinner at 8: 30pm each time they were closed. Found out they are only open 4 hours daily 4pm-8pm. Very disappointed. Not sure if we will ever return to my childhood favorite. Reviews are showing a bad pattern.

First time here and was not disappointed.food was really good and the person working was friendly and fast getting food.will definitely be back when where back up this way.good prices also.

A great stop along route 6 if your heading to Rhode Island, Connecticut or Massachusetts. Great pizza and grinders. This afternoon I got a Italian grinder which is always a go to. A must stop come and check it out.

This was probably the best pizza I have had in many years! They were so sweet and friendly and even though we were in a rush we had time to enjoy a truly excellent pizza! This is our new go to! Great job guys!

My experience here was so unexpectedly great the chef was extremely friendly and attentive. As for the food, after a day of problems at work famous pizza blew me into a good mood with an amazing steak grinder that I will gladly drive the 60 miles just to try something else on their menu

Well, if you are in the old deco style joint, this is it. I was traveling in time…like in the old days and even cutting my chicken parm with bare hands. The Chef disappeared for a couple minutes and then came back to put the provolone slices all with bare hands…I should have said something but I did not. The sandwich was OK but I Won’t go back. Not clean enough for me.

Great place for subs! They messed up order of one of the subs, they gave me old one, a new corrected one, and they only charged me for one! Good folks!
