Gary is hands down the best barber in New England.

He takes pride in his work and runs a phenomenal shop. Gary was my go-to barber for the entire time I was stationed in Newport. To anyone working or going to school at NAVSTA Newport, ditch the NEX barbers and book an appointment with Gary ASAP. I will absolutely come back to this shop anytime the Navy decides to bring me back to RI!

Solid haircut with tight sharp lines. Comfortable atmosphere and rediculous waiting chairs. Straight razor close. Friendly. Proffesional.

I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the booking requirement to get a cut. I’ve seen folks get double booked and one of mine was cancelled three days after making it.

Ray is in a league of his own. He is one of the most personable, attentive, and professional barbers I have ever visited. His care for his clients is unmatched, I left not only looking great, but feeling amazing.

It was an awesome experience from start to finish!
I asked for a fade and got a great one. I will be returning to get design in it.

Gary takes his reputation as a barber very seriously and it shows in the work he does. He knows how to cut hair and he gives a great fade. Of all the spots to go in the neighborhood don’t waste your time anywhere else- you won’t find a better cut for the price and quality.

My son got his hair cut here. It looks janky and awful. He has super blonde hair and there was dark hair all over him. Plus the extra $3 charge to use card is insane. Will NOT be coming back here.
