Fred & Steve's Steakhouse, Lincoln RI

Just okay. My 22oz steak was cooked correctly temp wise, but the cook didn't even wave a seasoning over it. No salt or pepper, just a mediocre $120 piece of meat. Don't get me wrong, nothing was bad about the place. Not worth the price though. Go to the other casinos main steakhouse for a better experience. Go to outback for better flavor.

What happened to this place? !? !? Used to be excellent.
Big money to eat here and I sent my steak back twice! First it was rare, came out well done second time! Third time was medium well!? !? Come on! Get it together! Mashed potatoes Luke warm bit on corn husk in creamed corn. Damn what a disgrace! Waiter was awesome.

Went there last night on private invite as a player. Hugely disappointing. Service was awful, not friendly nor inviting.food was so salty over salted totally bloated from the salt in their food. Do not recommend. I go to encore On Deck and food and service are excellent.

Doesn’t like food here today, the server who served us today is not good and behavior is worst, some servers are good who served us before (if that good servers have served us we would have not even bothered about money) we have been customers since 6 & half years we used to love food here, but today the food was not good and when we told the same with manager she told us not to come again to their place. This is really bad disappointing experience. Server not good today. For once if we dont like means that’s it they have to value customer feedback, first the person who served us the food he asked us immediately after serving how was the food then we ate only sweet potato which was good so we told good we haven’t yet started eating salmon and cowboy, but this manager was arguing we should say at first how can we say at first without having a bite, its ridiculous. When such people are there customers will be disappointed. Dont knew what happened to these people. We told fully cooked but they served half cooked tasteless food firstly and argued and telling customers not to come again oh wow. ‍️ if u want to eat the food how ever they serve cold not cooked properly and no taste just give a try. Went in with my two friends for dinner
Service was poor as to the time it took our waitress to show up but she was nice and professional. We ordered the tomahawk steak and surf and turf. The steak was too dry and tough definitely not worth the $190 sticker price. The shrimp was rubbery. The food came out cold after waiting 45 minutes for it. Will not ba back anytime soon! This place used to be good

Well.if you've ever read one of my reviews you can see that I tend to be on the higher side as I really like to promote places so a 2 should tell it all. Here we go.

Attending a show at Twin River and there are only a couple higher end options to eat. Booked a 545 pm reservation for an 8 pm show. Picked Fred and Steve's because like many sports fans, I was obviously aware of them from football and sports radio plus we love steak houses.

Started strong with a great corner table for 2 in the back of the restaurant and an excellent server (Danielle) but that's about where it ends.

Drinks were fine but bread basket had mostly crusty/burnt ends of the bread. We shared the Wedge salad special which was basically a hard head of lettuce cut in half with the usual dressing and minimal bacon, onions, etc. Not very special and probably 3 out of 10 on the wedge salad rating scale.

We finished our salad around 615 pm and had another drink assuming the steaks were coming. NY and filet special (oscar with stuffed shrimp). About 30 minutes later our server stopped by to say it was taking a bit longer than usual due to the event. My guess is they get busy during events typically and should be aware of those situations but whatever.

Now about 705, our server is apologizing and saying she is going to send her manager over. We were certainly frustrated but did not ask to see the manager. The manager came over to us and proceeded to lecture me on the standard 2 hour expectation for a steak house. The table next to us was having a similar issue with the wait but said "wow, why did she come in so hot? " Needless to say, not a pleasant manager visit to our table.

Steaks arrived a little over 60 minutes after the salad. Sadly my med rare NY was well done but my wife's steak and stuffed shrimp were very good so she gave me one of the shrimp because my steak was like shoe leather and I only ate a couple pieces.

Our server felt so badly as she looked at it saying "that's well". She said she would get the cost removed (which we did not request) but we told her to not send that manager over again or this will end poorly. At this point we just wanted to leave and go to the show. We'll, I guess we had the 2 hour steak house standard expected experience.

Overall, very very disappointing in terms of food for a "high end" streak house with an unbelievably disrespectful manager. Fred and Steve should be embarrassed and maybe should check out any of the pletera of excellent steak houses in Boston, etc.to learn from them.

Side note, no restroom in the restaurant so you need to go back out into the casino to use the bathroom.

I found a long black hair in my drink that I ordered, I asked to speak to the manager she came with a very bad attitude and told me I don’t have to order anything more. The food was garbage too, worst place to dine in.

Service was good but for the price of food it was horrible, cold filet mignon and rubbery shrimp covered in gooey stuff, the bread and olive oil was the best part of it, no thank you.

We were there on Friday June 3 2022, our meal was fabulous and our server Joseph was awesome. Its nice to find a place that is like this one, clean, great menu, nice atmoshere. Food is elegantly served. Can you tell we liked it? LOL

Food was all perfect, wait staff was also perfect, 1 star off as it wss a little more expensive than I thought it should have been. Prices where not horrible just a little more than they should have been. Price won't stop me from going back, just might order with an eye towards the $ next time.

A great journey through steak heaven, you will never go home hungry and the steak is 5 star

I have been to this restaurant 5 times since they opened and I have never had a truly great meal. The food is always just barely warm. How this is consistently achieved is beyond me. I am also starting to suspect that the food is precooked and heated in microwaves. Why else would baked stuffed shrimp be rubbery and primerib be grayish?

First of all, Ricky, our server, was absolutely fantastic. The guy's got some seriously great energy, we had a great time every time he came to the table. My burger came out fantastic as well, but I'm knocking off a star for the slow service from the kitchen - we were at the table for an hour and a half from the time we walked in before we got our food. The quality of the food was not worth the price in my opinion. $69 for a mediocre steak.

My husband and I went there for the first time last night. The food was awesome. Our waiter Ricky silva was great. We will definitely be back

Place was closed on a Friday night. We had snow earlier in day but it had to be a combo of weather/covid/staffing issues.

Manager did make it right as she comped us half off our meal at the pub style restaurant.

Just disappointed as we made reservations for a special birthday

Great atmosphere. Phenomenal service. Great food.
We had a large table with about 14 people and we could not have asked for better service. The ribeye on the bone was great and I was told the surf and turf was quite good as well. All around it was a great dinner!

Ordered a filet to be cooked medium it came it well done. After having a terrible experience with the restaurant next door my husband and I decided to go to Fred and Steves as they have always served a delicious filet steak. Not this time. We got up and walked out without eating. As it was we waited about 20 minutes to get the steak. We did not want to wait another 20. Very disappointing
