Geneva Diner reviews
19Went to this little hole in the wall diner in Johnston, RI. The outside is not much to look at; but, the food and pleasant staff inside is amazing. Delicious breakfast and reasonably priced. Cute retro diner atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff! If this diner was closer to my home, I would definitely return more often.
Good place with good service and food. Very much a neighborhood diner where everyone knows the regulars and the regulars know everyone - it's great. Bonus: the food is good too!
Umm great little greasy spoon.
Food is super fresh and perhaps the best bang for your buck in PVD.
I'd eat here over Julian's anytime!
Extremely let down, i just moved to the neighborhood and i’m a huge diner lover.greasy spoons are usually up my alley (OV’s is a fav!). But my home fries were flavorless, my eggs were cooked wrong, and the bacon was the wrong texture.our server (a woman in glasses) didn’t even see us for 20 minutes, not even coffee.her coworker picked up her slack, and helped us out.i was so hungry by the time i got the food, and i still couldn’t eat it.seems like if it was good, it’s gone down hill.
The chef has great skills, the pancakes and French toast very good 10. Eggs toast bacon sausage 10. Old building booths 5. Staff 7 chef 10.
Excellent small family restaurant. The food is amazing, the meat is soft and falls off the bones. Will totally be coming back.
First I called 2x no one answered then I went in to order Online menu is not their menu so I’m thinking I’m paying $8.99 for breakfast and then they charge 1.50 for toast really that should come with meal since menu online stated it did and was told to late to take it off order smh never again this why I don’t go out to eat now
We have been customer at Geneva dinner for years. It has always been good. Lately I’ve very disappointed. My food is never cooked properly. We keep going back to try it again and again this morning our food was under cooked. Pancake was raw in middle and bacon was way under cooked. I told the waiter but he wanted to make us another order. We could not wait for another Oder to be made. This is not the first time this has happened. I guess we will move.
As Geneva Mills neighbors.we love this local neighborhood diner. Tasty and affordable enough to come here regularly. And has parking. Definitely an adorable relaxing place to dine.
Did not know they changed owners pancakes would have tasted a lot better if it had maybe a little bit of cinnamon or vanilla the scrambled eggs did not look like scrambled eggs
Amazing food. Has recently changed hands with owners. But the food is equally as good. Definitely better staffing.
My daughter and my favorite diner. Really cheap prices for good food and a decent amount of food, you will not leave with empty pockets or an empty belly.
Can't spread more love for this place. I live in Maine and whenever I stop in town (we have family here) I make it a thing to stop by geneva. I love the staff they are always friendly and the food it spot on delicious breakfast/brunch off the hot griddle. Five stars keep up the amazing service and God bless.
Geneva Diner is a quaint little place and has been in North Providence for years. I have been there many times and it was always pretty good. My experience this morning was not, I sat and waited for over a half hour for a simple breakfast and it wasn't that good. I over heard the the guy who runs the place say he was moving to another place in Edgewood, maybe that is the reason.
My wife and I are becoming regular here. The service is always excellent and the food is top Notch. You don't want to miss the fish-and-chips on Fridays ;-0)
Calling this place a staple in the community is an understatement. Family owned and operated for decades, a new owner has recently taken over, and not with out impressing us. Great food, great selections, and great company. You only have to come here once to be family. I cannot recommend Geneva Diner enough.
Very good food, very clean and they observe all rules, a definite destination, I would go there again
Solid diner food and prices to match. Nothing fancy here, just good. Cash only and short hours.
