Great Taste Chinese Restaurant, Cumberland RI

For a “fast food” Chinese joint, this place doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for really decent Chinese takeout, check it out.

New to the area and this is the closest Chinese food spot to us and so I wanted to try it in hopes it would be our Chinese spot going forward but I don’t think that’s gonna be the case.

Food is bland and flavorless. I’m a big rice person and not much going on there. I’m also a big crabrangoon person and these things were hard as rocks on the crispy dough part and it was just plain ol cream cheese in the middle, couldn’t taste much else.

Guess I will keep trying different places in hopes there’s a good Chinese spot not that far from us.

We get food pretty regularly from here. I have yet to get anything bad from them! It's always tasty! The owners are super nice as well!

Fact of the matter is…. Be nice, the owner is amazing, every time I walk in my food is being put in the bag meaning it’s fresh. 100% recommend

Never had a bad experience here. Some things are better than others but that’s a personal preference of course. Owners are very friendly.

The people here are friendly and their food is delicious! I get the general Tso chicken and it’s consistently good, not too heavy which is nice. I’m also grateful for their vegetarian options / tofu too. The prices are fantastic compared to most places, so for price and quality you can’t beat it!

I'm really not sure why I read bad reviews, as I didn't experience anything bad as people said. I would describe it as "our perfect go-to comfort take out chinese" (the kind you wanna order in and grub on while watching a movie with the fam). The food is very delicious and flavorful, seasoned well. Our favorite was their fried dumplings (the sauce is amazing), chicken with broccoli, beef lomein. They have a diet section if you want something a bit healthier. Was very hot as if it was fresh out the pan when delivered. Good sized portions. Only complaint -if any- it was a tad bit on the oily side. Other than that I'd give this a try for take out.

No chicken in orange chicken. Just a bread crumbs or some substitute.
Oweners are very friendly.

TERRIBLE FOOD. First time there and I will NEVER go back.my general sau chicken was DRYY COMPLETELY DRYY I never had anything like it I’m sooo mad I spent $18 on that.lesson learned save my money

Great food, large portions, great prices!

Love their Broccoli and Chicken, Young Chow Fried Rice, Chicken on Stick, Beef on Stick, Seafood Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Shrimp Chow Mei Fun, Shrimp Amazing, etc.

Best Chinese in Cumberland. The owner is super friendly and the takeout service is top notch. We've had delivery from them many times and have been happy with every experience. Try the crab rangoon, you won't be sorry.

The food from here wasn't that great. Maybe I was spoiled coming from an area with great Chinese food, but I felt this place fell very short of my expectations. I had the spicy beef meal, and it literally had no taste. It's a hard thing to understand, and I'm still baffled by it, but it had zero taste. By far the most bizarre thing I've ever experienced. 1 star for the food. I ordered delivery, so I did 3 stars for service and atmosphere as a "neutral" rating.

Seems like they take pride in their food and clenliness of their restaurant. Been there twice and have not been dispappointed.

I gotta say I don’t leave reviews often but my experience was well worth it. The food was amazing you seriously can’t go wrong with the boneless spare ribs combo. The customer service was great. I will definitely be back soon.
