Food was delicious, melt in your mouth lobster roll! Shelby was a fantastic server and very friendly! Would highly recommend!

Incredible! The food was amazing and service was outstanding. Kimberly was our waitress- she offered great suggestions and was very professional- made us feel right at home. Our favorites were the bacon wrapped scallops and the lobster Mac and cheese. Definitely will be back!

My second time there (I hadn't been in a long time!) Our party of 5 were delighted with everything we had. Our server, Kelly, was extremely efficient, very sweet, and arguably, one of the best servers we all had ever had! My lobster tortelliti was fabulous. My friends were also very impressed with their meals. A five star experience! Can't wait to go back. Very highly recommended!

I live in the neighborhood and have been here many many times for dinner and lunch and need to share that tonight was just awful - my son ordered a $65 steak and asked for medium rare and it was overcooked and tough.my dinner (swordfish) was soggy and cold and I am not going to go on about other disappointments tonight. Please get your act together Hemingways or lower your prices if you cannot deliver the dining experience you charge for. BTW - I have NEVER written a review before for any restaurant in Providence.

Tried Hemenway for a midweek drinks and oysters night. Cocktails were strong and refreshing and oysters were also nice. New to town so Hemenway was a good start to our endless search for good oyster bars.

There is no describing the feeling of eating at hemenways. You know your food will be prepared at the utmost care with only you in mind. I have never been disappointed here. This is always an excellent staff that means to meet your every food and drink need. And they deliver every time. I can not say enough good things about this place. I wish I was rich and could afford this food everyday. I would know I was in heaven.

Exceptional meal, this restaurant never disappoints. We had Seafood Casserole and Swordfish Oscar, both were perfect. We have been going here since 1986. Never had a bad experience! Pick anything on the Menu, everything is fantastic. We had fresh oysters as an appetizer.
There is a good reason Hemenway's is one of the best restaurants in Southern New England! A great place to celebrate that special occasion.

The food is only the beginning. Exceptional, and freshly caught from RI and Mass daily. But the experience, the service, it's a whole package here. Theresa was our server and she was passionate, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be around. We were celebrating our anniversary and at least 5 of the staff members congratulated us. Rose petals at the table when we arrived and a complimentary dessert. Really quite lovely. We will be back.

If you're in the area, it should be at the top of your list.
Great experience, service, and food!

Phenomenal experience, celebrated a birthday here and the food was amazing. The service was very kind and the pacing was not too fast but also not super long either. They kindly knocked off the cost of desert for us due to the birthday which was very appreciated and thoughtful. Only thing was some of the tables where we were sitting were a little bit close together so it was tough to back up and make room, but most of the area seemed well spaced so just an issue in the special occasions area. Thanks!

All 7 of us had a great evening at Hemenway's. The food was delicious and inventive, Danielle was a terrific waitress, and the view of the water and sunset was lovely. I heartily recommend the bacon-wrapped scallops and the yellowfin tuna, just wonderful! Also it was quiet enough so we could hear each other talk. This is rare nowadays, and I'm so grateful to Hemenway's for it.

So beautiful, every aspect of my visit there was incredible from the building to the staff working. I will never forget this moment. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
