I've been seeing a lot of negative comments about buying a transmission or engine. When installing it yourself it's hard for any salvage yard to know if you properly installed it correctly that's why I recommend having them install it for you so their won't be any issues. I would ask them to take a video of them installing it or take pictures of the progress.yes it's a lot of money having it installed but at the end YOU know they installed it and THEY are reliable for that warranty. Buying a used transmission or engine from any salvage yard is like gambling. (It may or may not be defective). Don't forget parts on the used engine may go bad like head gaskets, seals or water pump. This isn't a rebuilt engine or transmission. (It's used) Just make shure you are topped off with fluids and checking everything before you leave their shop. I never came here before or bought anything from them but I just want people to understand how alot of salvage yards are.

I don't work here or know the owner I'm just a guy thats looking at reviews from other salvage yards. One day I'll stop by here and give my honest review about them and give an update on my experience.

This is one of the worst place to buy a part, bought and engine that overheat and surprise they didn't cover the warranty so you expend over 1k and just lost your money.

I purchase engine from this place and the for $2100 and the engine was junk, I call back to see if they replace the engine or refund my money, and because I misplaced the receipt they won't do nothing about it, stay way not recommended CROUCKS

If you don't want to waste your money don't buy parts here they sale you parts with warranty and later they said 20 different things to not cover it be careful

I wont recommend this business to my worst enemy, long story short story, this people do not stand behind the products they sell, and they will play any game to avoid warranty. Good luck if you have to deal with them.

I can’t thank Jim and Sonia and all the folks at K&R enough for all their help and their honesty. I needed a transmission for my enclave and they found one for me and when I had a issue they handled it with me not expecting any help from them. Truly amazing service in a world where you don’t see that much anymore. Thanks K&R

Excellent service. During the past year they picked up two cars from my complex with both customers being very happy. Based on those experiences I called them for a family member's car in nearby Massachusetts. Tony was very professional and friendly and the pick-up was on time with great service too. Easy transaction with no hassles. Recommend highly!

I went here to buy a wheel from them. They have the wheel for my car, so they made me pay first before checking out the wheel. They brought out the wheel and the wheel was in bad shape. I told them a want my money back and they gave me a hard time. Never again.

They still owe me a 2004 volvo s80 transmission after the first one they gave didnt work and i was supposed to get a call u to come pick it up and never got a call

This place has and continues to do a great job everyone at this business work as a team and always treats the customer with professional and personal care they take pride in what they do kudo's to k r auto and especially to Jim and Joey

Got 2 touring strut assemblys for my 2013 Dodge Dart from these guys and they were each almost $90.00 cheaper than AutoZone and Advanced auto. I waited about and hour and a half for them to retrieve the parts before they told me they were ready (very fast for a salvage yard these days). The parts were in fantastic condition and the guys working the counter (Italians thank God) provided excellent service. Couldn't have asked for a better price or parts. Completely satisfied. Will use again and will be recommending to all like minded Americans.

If you buy here follow this rules:

1. Be super clear they don't communicate clearly. Meaning They say one thing, but when you get there is another.

2. If you don't see whatever you are buying with your two or one eye, do not go by what you see on their website.
