Restaurant Mangiamo reviews
16Mangiamo has that home-cooked, Italian taste! You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu — especially their sausage and peppers sandwich!
Out of this world delicious Living very close by is easy and fast take out service with friendly staff. Thanks so much Doesn't get any better than this!
I am from this end of North Providence (Lymansville / Fruit Hill), though I've lived in South County for 13 years, but I had never been to this Italian deli, until today. One of the reasons we went was because it had 79 reviews of 4.9 stars! I am now adding their 80th 5-star review!
Their Italian Grinder was excellent, fantastic bread, great meats and cheese, fine veggies, and toasted in the oven to perfection. The meatball sandwich was also very good. The young woman who waited on us was very nice. She offered us some free Doughboys because they were closing in about an hour.
We will definitely be back and we'll try other things on the menu!
MANGIAMO - - WE EAT!
Love this place, the Salvatore sandwich is my favorite! Such friendly service, great food, and overall a great experience every time I stop in for a sandwich!
Sandwich was top quality. Great bread, fresh veggie, quality deli meats. Glad I stopped at a new place for me. I’ll be back!
If i could put 6 stars i would.amazing quality food, quantity is unmatched.this is the second sandwich, so far and wont be the last! See ya next week
Best sandwiches in town. The downside is they don't have beverages available on Doordash. Please get some beverages on there and I would order more often.
Delicious sandwiches on fresh bread! Meatballs were excellent.tables inside to eat.such a gem!
I tried their chicken cutlet sandwich and it was very tasty. I'm usually more of a soft bread kind of guy, so I was impressed by how great their hard bread was. Solid sandwich at a fair price - If I lived a little closer, I'd be a regular.
Went for lunch due to RI Food Fights. And even before going heard some great things.
Staff was friendly, food was fantastic. Will have to find time to go back
Went today for the first time and got the chicken parm sandwich. Absolutely THE BEST I've ever had!
Great counter help also. Very friendly.
I'll be back!
High quality sandwich with Italian meats and unbelievable bread!
I reheated their Sophia sandwich ($13 I think) in my oven perfectly and it hit the spot. It has salami, capicola and pepperoni with provolone and veggies.
Their bread though really took me by surprise. It’s flavorful, crispy on the outside and has a super airy inside.
Legit little Italian spot!
**** My edit for recent trip here didn’t copy but my photos showed up. I got the small Simbaldo during RI Food Fights. It was so damn good! Stuffed so well, great meat and excellent bread. *****
Seriously the best rolls for their sandwiches ever. Really really good bread. A small is still a big sandwich.
They have Italian pastries and standard pastries like pies, cookies, brownies and lemon squares. Multiple soups. Bakery pizza strips. Dough boys. Chips. Everything. The seats are cushioned here and they have outlets along the walls. Most of the tables are set up for two but a larger group came in and they pushed a few together to make a big table.
Everything on my grinder was super fresh. Prosciutto was perfect, seemed to be just sliced; not slimy like some places.
I had the Gio sandwich but there's a Vegetarian version called the Lorena as well. Definitely recommend just for the bread alone. Best bread I’ve had on a sandwich like ever
Such a cute spot. Bakery pizza was nice and crispy with a strong tomato sauce. Two subs were hearty! Check this place out! The ladies are doing a great job!
Looking for satisfying Italian sandwiches at a very reasonable price? I know I have been and this place has scratched every itch.
So far the bread and ingredients of each sandwich have been perfect. The classic prosciutto, mozzarella, and basil sandwich is very refreshing and made even more so with each satisfying crunch from the bread.
Unlike some other places, Mangiamo can handle heating their sandwiches without them turning into a mushy mess. Ive tried their sausage and peppers and chicken parmesan and both were incredible both inside and out.
Definitely going to be a place worth going to. Beats out other nearby Italian shops by a longshot!
