Marchetti's Restaurant, Cranston RI

First impression. Packed family friendly restaurant. We sat outside in a covered area near the wood stove. The plates on the table had this residue on them. Just not good seeing smeared finger prints on them. My meal was okay. The chicken was not seasoned and tasted bland. The pasta also was a let down. Just felt like it was left sitting in water. I had the Chicken gorgonzola and the only thing that was good on the plate was the tomatoes. Now the second plate was also a chicken dish that had the same bland chicken and a very bitter lingering after taste. That chicken marsala was the worst I ever had. Our waiter was hitting out of the park for us. He gets five stars. Just puzzling that two awful plates and the place is packed.

Excellent food and Great service. Even with a full house and people waiting, my wife and I weren't left alone for too long.

It was fantastic as always. You never disappoint. Sadly my son miscalculated the tip and should have left more for our servers.next time I'll make it up to them.

Everything was absolutely amazing. Food was great, the service was great. It was my boyfriend and I's first time and it was worth evrry penny. We will be back!

Another great trip to Marchetti's! The amazing service to the variety of Italian fare is worth driving by Federal Hill and heading into Cranston! Tonight we had the Lasagna and the Seafood Marinara. The servings are so large you may want to ask for a box! The best part of Marchettis is the homemade gravy offered, along with the tremendous prices. If you have not tried this wonderful restaurant, please give it a try. You will not be sorry!

This place was amazing! Reservations are best for sure, we arrived and were seated promptly with our reservation time. The food was incredible and we had enough leftovers for a second meal! Normally when we travel we don’t even take the leftovers but we did here! They were that good, and reheated nicely too!

I have always loved Marchetti's, but last night I ordered take out. I had scallops casino and my friend had there famous lasagna. There was so much cheese on both the dinners I couldn't find the scallops and my friend couldn't find the lasagna noodles. I'm sorry to say it will he a while before I order there again. Again big fan of Marchett's

The place is very good but why 3 stars? They have a frangance in the entrance which is very strong and since I had my stomach empty I felt nauseous. Second, the bread they give as appetizer does not feel fresh and third the pasta I ordered was not Al dente. But, the flavor was very good and the amount of food is crazy. I went with my husband and we order 1 plate for both and also we took a part home.

We had a wonderful time at your establishment for my mother in law's 80th birthday Patrick was was our server and definitely has been the best we've had there yet can't wait to come back

Out waiter David was excellent, helpful and quickly served our orders. We appreciated his commentary as well as his willingness to assist with menu choices. He was attentive, but not excessively around to make our visit family-like. We were all extremely filled by our orders, and all left with leftovers and full stomachs.
We recommend, and return another time.
Get the reservation, as this is a hot spot to visit, when you find yourself in the area.

This place is still a gold mine but they are slipping the food was terrible And the management after I showed him how bad the food was only would Comp one meal, Very disappointed will not go back plus if you have a handicapped person 3 lousy spotsFor a handicap parking this big place should have more parking

The pasta is made from scratch, what else do you need to know? Delicious and authentic, this is establishment is like no other.

We always order from Marchetti's when we are in RI. The quality and quantity remain unchanged over the 40+ year since we moved out of state.

A lot Of food! My wife and I ordered meatball that I recommend, salad and 1 pasta dish. The pasta was watery? And it was not Al dente. If you want to eat a lot that’s the place you should go but for me is more American than Italian. A good thing is that the prices are fair.

We've been going here for many years. The food is excellent there hasn't been a dish we've tried that we didn't like. Service is always great. The portions are so big it's enough for 3 people we've never had dessert cause you leave full an never finish. I recommend the eggplant parmesan my favorite
