Great breakfast! The staff & atmosphere were also great. They were packed (Sunday 10: 30ish), but the wait was short.

We were looking for a local spot and we hit the jackpot here! I’m a creature of habit for breakfast, bacon egg and cheese omelette, but I added the pumpkin and vanilla French toast and I swear it was the best thing I’ve ever had. It could have been dessert! What a great place to eat!

Excellent food and service! Dee was a great waitress, so friendly and attentive, we did not have to wait for anything! I would highly recommend Meldgie's to anyone looking for a nice place to eat!

I had to ask for a steak knife to cut my waffle it was old and very crispy. My friend ordered the sruffed french toast. The stuffing was good the bread was old. The waitress was kind and the place was very busy. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal except for us.

The food and coffee was good and hot. The waitress was nice and didn't try to rush us out and the prices were decent.

Fantastic! Growing up in New York, diners are a way of life. Outside of New York, I’ve always had a hard time finding anyplace the compares. But this place is fantastic! The food was great, service was good and fast, and it just had the warm diner atmosphere. Really enjoyed it. I will be back (in bunches!)

OMG, this place is fabulous. The food is absolutely delicious. The waitstaff goes above and beyond to enhance your dining experience. I love Meldgies! I love Katherine, she’s the best!

This is a true downtown Café. You walk in and you are welcome and feel like you can just start talking to anyone about life. Excellent food and service. Exactly what I was expecting to find.

Restaurant was incredibly crowded for 11: 15am on a Tuesday but we were seated right away! Lots of options on Menu including Gluten-Free Toast and GF Johnny Cakes! Even though there were lots of customers our food came out extremely fast and was all we asked for! Server was friendly and very accommodating! Definitely will be back again! A great local RI cafe!

Food was amazing and service was on point. Blueberry pancakes, johnny cakes, corn beef hash were highlights.
