Murphy's Law Irish Pub reviews
14 Nice, pubby atmosphere. Very large bar, and large dining area. I've had two of the traditional Irish dishes here (shepherd's pie, and beef stew), and both were very good. The Guinness is very good too - a perfect pour (although the glass was not 16 oz: - ().
They also have a large area with at least one pool table (can't recall if there was more than one table, but I think there may have been two). Comfortable seating around the pool table also.
Good place to meet up with friends/family in a very casual atmosphere. The service (wait staff, and bar staff) were both very good both times that I visited.
Went the other night. Murphy’s used to be good, hence my other review. This time they were half out of Everything, beer & food. Apparently they haven’t had a manager in 2-3weeks so items were not ordered or delivered. Bartender was good & did her best. After multiple tries at getting drinks & food, we settled on the steak spring rolls $12 (See the pics.) Disgusting, minimal & just plain…ugh.
Still a beautiful spot. They need someone to keep them up on supplies!
We stayed in the Hampton Inn next door, and decided to give this a try. Its directly connected to the hotel. Really good food and quick friendly service. Highly recommend
Good food, had the Asian salad. It was delicious! Good wine Watched the Patriots game there. Great place to watch sports multiple TVs.
Convenient if you're at rhe Hampton Inn attached to it. The service and food was pretty good! Great portion size and they have all your Irish classics. One star deduction just because the restaurant itself smelled like wet cleaning products which is off-putting in a place where you eat.
The steak spring rolls were to die for! Good selection of beers. Burgers were great and the shepherds pie was amazing. Great band - Catching Blue - topped the night off.
Nice restaurant to have lunch. I asked the bartender to put 1 of the TV to show the F1 race and she did. Granted it was not very busy. The food was excellent. Ceasar salad and spring rolls.
$25 for carry out fish and chips. The fish was thin, and there were no chips. The fish didn’t taste terrible at least. The salad that I requested in place of coleslaw might be good if you like red onions, soggy/wrinkly carrots and wilted lettuce, I don’t know because I didn’t try it. Should have known better than to enter an establishment called Murphy’s Law, I suppose. Lol
If you like comfort food this is a place to try. Number of items to choose from and for a reasonable price point. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely a pub feel & liked the decor. Plenty of parking & easy highway access - prime location. Enjoy
Love this place, and I get to see my brother. Aug 21st.party of 5.for lunch.music was blaring, Asked nicely 5 X if they could lower it. ALEXIA WAS FRIENDLY, PROFESIONAL and accommodating.
I ordered the pot roast grilled cheese, very good. Food all around was delish. The bearded twitching bartender behind the bar was loud, singing obnoxiously and kept turning the music back up.
Food has steadily gotten worse in flavor, and with the rising prices, the food there is not worth the price. Better off going to Craft burgers, Shark lounge or Don Nachos tacos up the street! They lost excellent entertainment as well. BUMMER. This place I held at 5 stars years ago.
Great Music, Great Food, Great Service!
We've been coming here regularly over the years, and they've had ups and downs. Recently they brought in a new manager who really seems to have a handle on things. Some other reviews I've seen mention poor management, but that has definitely changed. The new guy is all over the place checking in with customers, bringing food to tables, wiping down the bar, helping bands set up, etc. We're seeing more great bands here, and the food is getting better by the minute. The service is great, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, just like you'd want from an Irish pub. We've also been told that they are extending kitchen hours, which is great for hotel guests and people coming in to see the live music.
Post Covid crazy years, it was great to be back & to visit with friends while welcoming the singer/musician J Michael Graham back to common Friday Night performances.
Michael did a great set of three plus hours.
