I was referred to ATC Tech by Apple. Due to the ongoing shelter in place, I wasn't expecting to get my Mac Book Pro fixed anytime soon, or be price gouged. Matt from ATC was extremely helpful, personable and understanding, he got me an appointment 2 days later. They were able to reinstall High Sierra on my formatted 2011 Mac Book Pro within a few hours and it only cost $50.00. The great customer service and low prices are emblematic of why we should support small business in our community.

I had bought a IMac from Bestbuy with applecare. During the covid crisis it developed problems, and got no help from "geeksquad ". I called Apple and they referred me to NCC. Matt went above and beyond for me and had me in and out in 2 business days. 5 star customer service. Thanks guys.

Newport County Computers rescued me from near disaster when my $2800 Macbook Pro 15" suffered destruction to the keyboard! I feared the worst when I called other local computer repair facilities and they informed me that I would have to drive all the way up to the Apple store in Providence and pay to get the unit replaced completely. Simply not in my budget! I did one final web search and came across NCC. I called and Matt answered the phone, asked a few questions about the all keys I was experiencing trouble with and damage, and to my great surprise informed me that they would replace the entire keyboard with speakers and all for FREE and bill Apple for the service! I was elated! He had the hardware 36 hours later and my laptop was fixed 4 hours after that. I even got a brand new battery! So HUNDREDS of dollars of new equipment without a penny out-of-pocket. Since that time, I have had NCC install a 1TB solid-state drive on one of my other MacBook Pros, and they gave me a 50% discount as a repeat customer! They also did a 16GB RAM upgrade on my oldest eight-year-old MacBook so now it is running MacOS High Sierra and synched via iCloud with all of my other devices.

This company was fantastic. The technicians were professional, personable, and knowledgeable. They were able to identify and remedy some minor problems with a home-built computer within 24 hours and when I came back the next day because of connectivity issues between the motherboard and monitor, I was greeted and assisted by two technicians who troubleshooted for an hour (and talked it through with my 7year old son - who was able to later recount the whole process). I would highly recommend this company and would absolutely return for any future computer issues.
