NicoBella's Downtown Providence

This place is great. I've rarely found somewhere that hits so high on all fronts: food, service, atmosphere, and price. It's welcoming, fun, and such a great experience. I had brunch but I want to come back for lunch and drinks.

Looking for a place for a keto-friendly brunch downtown. Had the castle spa ham and eggs and a side of sautéed veg. Great art and music. Recommend

Super friendly and accommodating staff. The BEST chicken and waffles I've ever had (and I've had chicken and waffles in many many places).

This place is trash. Menu, tables and staff were all dirty. Waitress stank from sweat. Waited 45 minutes for a salad which never came.

Very slow and forgetfull service. Watched food sit on a counter 6-8 minutes when several servers walked by and didn't acknowledge the full tray of food sitting there. When the server finally brought it over the food was cool to cold. Disappointed

Quirky little place that makes you feel like whether it be diner breakfast, after work drinks, or nightclub, that they will have you taken care of. Love the quirky art on the wall and I only wish they would have and embrace more of that.

Very fun aesthetic - nice diner if you’re looking for a cool sit down environment. They also make a great apple cider pancake in the fall.

I’m honestly quite disappointed with my experience. FOH staff wasn’t friendly or welcoming. I walked in and waited at the host stand. The team walked by me multiple times and said nothing, and a bunch of FOH staff was standing behind the counter looking at me but not acknowledging or even saying hello. Eventually, I sat and ordered Loxs Bagel, which wasn’t bad and hit the spot but didn’t come with how I asked. My waiter went off memory and did not write down my order. I had a lot of time to observe; everyone that walked in had experienced the same thing, and the tables that were sat at weren’t greeted until some time. With all their staff, it should have been a smoother experience. The staff looked confused, and frustrated, not working as a team and running around without guidance or set stations. The kitchen staff was on point; they had the food all coming out, but FOH staff wasn’t checking on their food, so BOH staff had to come out and call for them.

This place has potential, it’s a cute artsy place in a good location. A manager need to be present on the floor and setting the standards. Hope it gets better.

Waitress was very friendly, food was good. The main reason the restaurant didn't get 4 stars was because we waited 45 mins for our food and the restaurant was not crowded at all.

This place is so understaffed it’s tragic. Place has good food and good vibe but you waste away waiting for your waiter to come over. Just two workers and the place is slammed. I blame management on not being present when the place is busiest.

I highly do not recommend this restaurant. This is a self-serve and price gouging restaurant with little to no care about customer’s needs. We had to grab our own menus and utensils. The menu was covered in grease and we waited for half an hr before our server came to take our orders. We ordered two pesto chicken sandwich and a salad. An hour had past and our server didn’t provided us with water yet. In addition, our food didn’t come so we asked our server to check on our orders. Our server said the kitchen was working on it and told us to wait. She forgotten about our water and so we sat there with no water or food. When it finally came, she provided half of us with water and the rest of the party didn’t have any so we shared the water amongst ourselves. We waited for two hours and they provided us with an untossed salad. When our server brought the two pesto chicken sandwich to our table, one of the chicken were in strips and the other was in one giant piece. We asked the server if these two orders were the same but she had no clue what’s on the menu. The manager came to our table and provided us a discount coupon for our next visit to this restaurant. He never apologized for the food delay or the poor customer service. He jokingly said don’t be surprised if there were additional things added into our food. We asked to cancel our orders but they insisted us to wait because the kitchen was working on it. At this point, we just wanted our bill but our server was nowhere to be found. We asked for our server and the staff questioned us about the name of our server. Our server never introduced herself to us. We had to go up to the cashier to pay. This restaurant has two bathrooms but there was a huge line up for it because one of the bathroom ran out of toilet paper and the other didn’t have light in it. The staff were aware of it as they said that the bathroom was functional but there’s no light. So the staff never took the time to restock or fix the bathroom. What a nightmare!

What a delightful little spot in the city. The owner was very warm and inviting. The atmosphere was great. The art that adorns the walls was amazing. I had the egg and cheese on a croissant *chef’s kiss*. I wish I was a local so I could come here all the time!

Breakfast here is always a wonderful experience! Prices are fair, andvthe staff is wonderful! We go for breakfast every time we're in Providence.

Great place, we needed a place for a quick coffee and snack. Very nice waitstaff. I'll be back for lunch.
