I was very unhappy with my stay here. Overall the hotel is nice looking, but I pay close to 300 dollars for a river view room, no bigger than a jail cell, we had to change rooms, because our floor was so sticky, and found massive muffin crumbs all over the 1 chair in the room, also an open safety pin on the same chair. And farm style bathroom door would not slide. So we had to pack everything, lug it back down stairs In the elevator which also was sticky and got all over our bags we know have to have cleaned. Go to the front desk to change rooms. And they give us the same type of room with a worse view. Nothing done by the front desk to make up for a hour of inconvenience after an 8 hour car ride and in a rush to get to an event. Would give the place another shot but things like this shouldn't happen when you paying 300 for one night in warwick rhode island

I assume some folks will like this retro-renovation style, just not for us. Very small concrete cube of a room, and I mean total concrete, walls, floor, ceiling and bathroom. Very cold and spartan in appearance, like a jail cell I suspect. The bathroom was long and narrow with a sink that is so small and recessed that you can barely brush your teeth. Forget about washing your face or removing makeup!

Checked in by Orlando who was unpleasant, unhelpful, and generally sour. Stuck us in a "river view king" on the first floor that really had no view at all except maybe a bushy tree.

Asked for the room to be serviced after our first night because we had to get ready for an evening wedding the next day. Left for the day after confirming we were scheduled for a refresh. Returned at 3 PM to find our room just as we left it, wet filthy towels and all. Had to request towels so we could get ready for the wedding. Not a pleasant experience and not what I expect for the price we paid.

Anyway, been there, done that, would definitely NOT return to this property

Always enjoy our stay here - great spot for us and our small dog including lots of outdoor grassy areas to take her. Comfortable beds.clean, modern rooms, great Wi-Fi, TV and large room. Bathroom sink super tiny - a bit small for the urban modern bathroom that water splashes out everywhere.but this was no big deal for us. Food for dinner was sub-par - which was a disappointment, but other than this we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Breakfast was very good, but cost extra.
Nice shower, great herb & lavender bath products.

Very comfortable bed but only 1 chair in the room for 2 people. Breakfast was good in the restaurant. Different style than what we are used to. Staff friendly.

I'm giving this place 3 out of 5, because it's clean and the staff works to fix things quickly, it loses the other stars for a few things.

I got to the hotel late, 1130pm-ish, and to my room #307 shortly after, and the first thing I noticed was the AC was VERY loud. I called downstairs and she said it was "probably warming up" and to give it a few and "if it doesn't quiet down, call and we'll get you a new room". It's nearly midnight and I don't want to wait to wind down but I give it a few more minutes. Mind you this was the night before hurricane Henri hit and it sounded like a hurricane, it was obnoxious, i have video and will post if I can figure that out. After I wait a few I call, it rings for two minutes with no answer so I pack my stuff up and go downstairs to get my new room. They quickly get me a different room, on the 4th floor. I believe this room was formerly a smoking room, because there is a faint odor of stale smoke, whatever I'm tired and I can pick my battles.

The rooms are clean, but strange. They kinda look like a large prison cell with decent furniture.

Another issue I have is the door hanger. One side has, "privacy please" and the other side has "service please". I only noticed because I left my room for a few and when I came back I noticed I had the service up rather than privacy. This could have led to a possible knock from the maids when I was sleeping. Most hotels where I stay, and I stay at hotels on a weekly basis, have a door hanger that has a privacy message on both sides, and if you don't have a hanger hanging on the door it's assumed you'll need service. All this hanger does is throw seasoned professionals hotel patrons off. Why be different? This is now a Hilton property, I expect consistency.

I'll change my review when improvements occur.

This place is a stain on the Hilton name. The customer service is great, the location is nice, the river out back is pretty, and the included breakfast was delicious. However, none of that can make up for the fact that the rooms legitimately feel like jail cells. Bare concrete floors, walls, and ceiling, it's so cold and uncomfortable. The sink in the bathroom is hilariously small, and the faucet sprayed water all over when it was turned on. The floors are perpetually like a sheet of ice because it's just bare concrete, and there are blemishes and drywall anchors visible all over the walls. It's genuinely the most opposite of what I would call comfy or cozy that I can imagine.

It's clearly an attempt at being trendy or post Modern, but the size of the room and the concrete on all sides just leads to it feeling dank, cold, and awful.

Nothing at all wrong with the service, though, if you don't care about sleeping in a one car garage, you might enjoy it.

Mold on bottom of shower edging. Towels left almost a sticky residue on skin after drying. Shower head was cracked and falling apart. Toilet was pre clogged. Some furniture was excessively used and tattered. Stupid motion sensor light had a 30-40 min shut off. Breakfast was subpar. I've had better breakfast at 70$ hotels. Bacon was great though. Staff was extremely nice and knowable. The restaurant at some really good parts and bad parts. Bar looked like it didn't match anything else. Great couches inside and lounges outside. Great view of the river. Glass between you and the river is all over the place and looks like it's ready to fall in. Overall it's rundown and not being kept up with. I'm sure it was a lot nicer in the beginning. Location is great for breweries and food. If this was a 100-120$ hotel.sure but my bill was around 260 (weekend). I've seen better/cleaner rooms at redroof, days inn.much cheaper hotels. Maybe I just expected more? No more Hilton for me. Oh and the bath sink was cool.just kinda useless. Was too small and had to keep water barely running so it didn't splash you.

This turned out not to be my kind of place. It was different from the normal hotel I would stay in but somethings need help. First and foremost is the sink. It was too small to brush teeth, shave or even wash hands. Nowhere to hang things in the bathroom. That said the setting and scenery outside was nice. If you like the loft, minimalist type place you might like it.

Horrible service by the desk employees, the hotel is not a Hilton style. The bathroom soup dispensers where not filled. The room we booked 2 months ago was not available. We were going to a family wedding, a welcome bag was left for us with our name on it, somehow it was missing. The staff had no idea if what time the bus was coming to pick us up. We were late to the wedding and took a uber. The floors to the elevator were not clean. I have been staying in Hilton properties for over 30 years, this was the worse one ever. The bath towel was covered in brown dust or something. The staff did nothing to make our stay feel comfortable with all the issues. Stay away

I like this hotel because there is no carpet to collect gross bacteria and dust. I get a better nights rest that way. The atmosphere is nice, industrial/loft feel. The rooms lack a refrigerator and is an issue for those with extended stays. Also, it is difficult to use the small sink that is crammed under the mirror. Overall, I like the place and hope there are future improvements.

Perfectly fine hotel. Unique design that's not everyone's taste but you should be able to tell that before booking. Hotel may not honor your Hilton honors status or give points if your employer is paying and getting a discounted rate in my case they didn't (i guess you're really paying for those extra perks in your room rate after all) but ymmv.

If in this area. Stay here. Not the big giant ones nearby. This is a really nice hotel. A very boutique feel and price was nice. Food onsite was great. Outdoor patio and river view was stellar.

It's a nice hotel with lack of amenities. There is no fridge in the room and the bathroom did not have any tub in it. Bathroom sink was way too small. Bed was comfortable. It's pretty dark though, they only have 2 lamps next to bed.

If you like a twist of different you’ll appreciate the original Fruit of the Loom factory from the 1800’s turned into a hotel. This in not for everyone as opulence is absent. What you’ll find is raw beauty with lots of concrete walls and floors. The great advantage to the concrete walls is how quite the rooms are due to the thick walls.
We really like the place and was enamored but the unique style and rawness.

It's stylish. The restaurant patio along the river is like a movie set.possibly for some dystopian New England sci-fi, but it has a lot of character. Nothing about the place is boring.
