O Sushi Restaurant and Bar reviews
16Always a pleasure to eat here. Owners Tammy and Sammy always make sure everything is wonderful.
Went here with my boyfriend. Started off with mushroom soup, it was awful. Raw mushrooms in miso soup. Didn’t even cook the mushrooms. Should have known how the sushi would be from how disappointing the soup was. Oh, can’t forget the dirty dishes we got too. We got the sushi and sashimi platter for 2, all i have to say is ew. To start, the sushi was warm. So was the rice. The sashimi was absolutely not fresh and was super fishy and also warm. Hope I don’t get sick! Also, the rice completely fell apart when we ate the nigiri. Which was also warm. I will never come here again worst sushi I have ever had please save your money.
Sushi was good, atmosphere was pretty dark, felt like I was in a nightclub, will definitely get takeout?
I popped in for a quick bite while in town and was thoroughly impressed. I had the lunch box, which came with a large amount of food and very affordable! The food was great and service was fast. I would definitely come back. This lunch box was $12 plus tax.
Fast service, delicious tuna avocado, miso soup, clean and spacious, bathroom clean, friendly staff. Parked in lot in front of restaurant.
Amazing service, super fast the drinks and food came out the fastest I've ever seen, the waitress was so nice and the food was amazing at a good price same as cocktails, my first time trying sushi and it was delicious I recommend the Philadelphia roll so good, we will be back!
As someone else commented, "the place is very unassuming but once you're inside". You definitely should not be disappointed because it's just amazing. From the staff to the food, every time I've dined here each experience has been better than the last. I'd give you six stars if I could.
Unfortunately, after a third trip here my girlfriend and I have to say goodbye. Should have gone back to Kabuki, but we wanted a change of pace. Granted the last couple times there were no issues, but I got the sashimi for the first time and it was a nightmare. The eel and avocado roll was served warm (eww), sashimi is not fresh. Stay away from the Kani salad because it somehow tasted like tuna fish. I got food poisoning and it wiped away my presence for my Dad's birthday the next day. Went to use the oval office all night and my rectum obliterated the room, sick to my stomach and stayed in bed the whole next morning. It was awful. Either serve the fish fresh or throw it out! SAD!
Good quality food! Was running low on a most imported beverages and the internal ambiance leaves something to be desired. If the vibes matched the quality of the food this would be a little gem.
I went here last Thursday to try another sushi place.
I really wanted to love it but got FOOD POISONING.
I ordered only cooked sushi- a California roll and spicy shrimp roll and a seaweed salad.
The sushi was meh, really mushy and the avocado you could tell was warm and brown.
There is less Chinese food on the menu but it is equally as good as the Japanese offerings. This place gets overlooked because of other Asian restaurants in the area. It shouldn't be. In-house, both the taste and the visual presentation of their sushi rolls are top notch.
I love the staff and the food, but for the love of god please change the soundtrack. We've been coming here for years and it hasn't changed, Peace
This place is deceiving from the outside as it is very unassuming in a strip mall. Once you get in though, the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Service was very fast, and the food was brought out quickly. The Red Dragon roll that I got was presented very beautifully and tasted just as good. The teriyaki salmon dish that we ordered was very average. I would definitely stick to the rolls here. 8/10 would recommend.
Always great - super fresh, tasty food, good drinks and great staff!
A favorite! And - they are managing with the greatest caution during this epidemic. One of the few places I completely trust.
One of my favorite Asian restaurants in the state! Friendly staff & the food is fresh and delicious. They never disappoint!
