6Love love love the friendly team/staff. They’re really looking out for people in the community and explain everything and every step 100%. They are a little busy so I wouldn’t apply if I’m impatient or need quick solutions. But trust me it’s worth the wait. And the classes really and truly come in clutch. I’m surprised at the reviews but bad news spreads fast than good news.
I didn’t end up buying a house unfortunately but the staff was super nice and i learned a lot of knowledge from the classes
DO NOT work here. The people of the board are very unprofessional and do not care about their workers, they never helped every time there was a problem with a supervisor. I was also under paid and was lied to about my raises. The supervisor (for remodeling) is very rude and disrespectful. I’ve gotten screamed at, finger pointed at my FACE and even cussed in my face because of the supervisor denying everything he told me and to my team to do on the job. It had came to the point where I asked for a meeting due to the supervisor blowing up my phone trying to argue with me through text messages, I decided to ask for a meeting with everyone including the board, no one was there except the 2 ladies at the front office and me. NO supervisor. Eventually I still became the blame for defending myself from the the disrespect that I have received. I have also been told by the team who I remodeled with, that someone who had worked right before me had QUIT, due to dealing with the same supervisor! Left work and never came back (I don’t blame him). This same supervisor also made us do work at his HOUSE on the job, making me and co-worker Sam pick up trash/dump from his yard (while on the job) to take the the dump that the company had BOUGHT for us to take demolition to. Overall they never looked into the supervisor and decide to put all the blame and problems on me, again very unprofessional and a disappointment of company.
I went to an open house that PCF held and as an African American and I did not feel welcome. The director who may be of caucasian decent was very friendly and the lady with the clip board.
However, the hispanic staff that I believe had a high position was not welcoming. Whenever, I asked a question she was very dismissive and would give me a look like I didn't belong; but when the other hispanics that viewed the property she paid more attention to them and spoke Spanish with.
I felt isolated, and ignored as if I didn't belong there. I was surprised by this behavior because I thought PCF was to help POC in our community. I left feeling like PCF is only for hispanic. Based off that experience I wouldn't be surprised if the housing decision is very bias. The people on the site that are getting these homes are only hispanic. The staff are only hispanic. The people who are coming to these open houses are hispanic. Something doesn't seem right. If PCF only want to HELP hispanic just advertise that so blacks can go somewhere else. Thank you.
Worst customer service ever. I work in customer service I have never treated my customer the way they do. They literally just ignore you. They should hire me LOL I would do way better.
Absolutely horrible management staff, no communication whatsoever the company didn’t answer the phone for 2 weeks straight, one min I’m on the list to wait for an apartment for me and my son and I constantly called for a year straight to see the progress and the second I went 2 weeks of not calling they claimed they sent a letter I didn’t respond to in the mail so automatically took me off the list after waiting over a year! No phone call nothing, no extra effort to contact me I never once received any letter so all they had to say about it was “well try again and reapply that’s all” the process to get in was so tideous and too time consuming all for nothing I would never apply again just to waste my time. They do as they please. Very horrible staff.
