Providence Coal Fired Pizza reviews
16The pizza is tasteless. No flavor. Overpriced for “artisan” pizza. The marinara sauce tastes like lemon juice. The service is good though. I won’t be coming back though.
Sat at the bar with friends for dinner after attending a play. Bartender was very nice and accommodating. Had the blackberry mule and it was delicious! I had a r arugula salad which was excellent - very lightly dressed with a lemony dressing and proscuitto. The roasted veggies with baked goat cheese was also excellent! My only suggestion would be to add personal size pizzas to the menu, but otherwise it was excellent!
My family and I dinned in on 12/22/21 around 7: 00 PM. Our waiter was just the worst, walked away while we were still giving our drink order, you can tell he just didn't care. He was unattentive for most of the night, because he spent most of his time laughing it up and giving non stop service to another table behind us so our service suffered as a result. I will never step foot in this joke of a restaurant again.
Nice atmosphere. The prices are a bit high and the food wasn't all that great. I had a chicken salad and the chicken was very dry.
The had way less choices the the previous years I have been, also the quality of the food was not as good.
My worst client experience so far. We went there with a big group of adults and kids (10-12 people) and asked if they could help arrange tables so everyone can sit together, but the manager was very rude and said they won’t do it and tables need to stay as they are, and if we are not happy with this we free to go. So we ended up occupying 3 tables 2 meters from each other and couldn’t enjoy the food. And even more, the place was completely empty, this is just ridiculous
I had the loveliest pizza with beef on it I've ever had in my life. Waiter was amazing too! Definitely recommend for the pizza enthusiast
Pizza was very delicious and the appetizer Caesar salad was gigantic. We got the cannolis for dessert and they were probably the worst cannolis I've ever got, very bland and flavorless, the shell wasn't very crunchy. Overall great experience but avoid the cannolis.
Delicious fresh food. Love the chicken Caesar salad. I usually order delivery and always fresh and ontime.
The pizza is very special. My wife and I are traditional pizza lovers tomato sauce and cheese and 1 pizza is more than enough for 2. Their thin and somewhat burnt crust is awesome. Not exaggerating. You will definitely not be disappointed. They have valet parking and remember to be generous as they only make money from tips, NO hourly wage. Enjoy. Dan
Extremely underwhelming. My professional recommendations for The Bianca pizza would be to add a little salt and pepper to taste and a little more lemon juice over the arugula. The BBQ chicken, less bbq sauce and more cheese would definitely do the trick.
As for the bruschetta, let’s take it back to basics please. Simple minced Romano tomato, shallot, minced garlic, basil with balsamic reduction drizzle on toasted coal fire baguette slices.
Would love to taste more flavor to the palette in future.
Excellent food, beautifully prepared. Our server was kind, efficient, really made our experience complete.
Great spot for a pre-theater dinner. Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) is a couple short blocks away You have a service call scheduled for 12/01/2021 and we're planning to be there between the hours of 7: 00 AM and 10: 00 AM. Love the shrimp pesto pizza and the soup of the week (?) was a delicious tomato with coriander and mozzarella.
They knew that we were on a tight schedule and accommodating us. The pizza was good and the salad was wonderful.
We love Providence Coal Fired Pizza! We’ve been several times and it’s consistently excellent. The best NY style pizza around.
