Donut Shop PVDonuts reviews
16Absolutely loved the atmosphere in here with such an amazing selection of donuts it was hard to choose one! Went for the butter beer filled donut which i HIGHLY recommend.also was very reasonably priced which is a bonus! Come earlier in the day for best selection but honestly you can go wrong with any of their donuts.service was also brilliant, staff were so helpful and patient.will be back soon to try all the flavours!
Donuts are terrible! Bought them for my team, they were not impressed. The donuts looked great but they tasted terrible! Would never buy them again and definitely would not recommend them. Not sure what the hype is or how they have so many positive reviews. There’s a couple other places in Rhode Island that have much better donuts!
I totally messed up my online order. I ordered for the wrong day. They were amazing, kind and helpful getting my order for today. Forever grateful. This says so much about this business. Great unique donuts and understanding staff.
Great little place. Decadent donuts, but what stood out was the regular black cold brew, it was perfect and that's rare.
Interesting flavors and large variety of homemade donuts, filled and otherwise. I love Knead, but these are as good, and my new go-to since the Knead downtown closed.
Delicious donuts and great coffee! Was pleasantly surprised by the light fluffy nature of the donuts. We couldn’t decide what we wanted so had them select a variety for us. They were all delicious! But filling! The Flavored cold brew was a nice touch!
I was disappointed they didn’t have any stickers for my collection and the cashier wouldn’t give me a sticker the they used to seal the boxes but overall a great place!
I had a pb&j donut and it was perfect. The dough had a great texture - not too soft, not too chewy. The dough was seasoned with just the right amount of salt and the strawberry jam in the center was not too sweet. Would definitely recommend this place, even for the pickiest of donut eaters.
You know those rare moments when you bite into a food that is so good you take a moment to appreciate the fact that you’re alive? That’s Pvdonuts for you. They quite literally never miss.
If you’ve ever had these donuts you know how truly delicious and pretty they are. I knew even before I got engaged that I couldn’t see myself getting a traditional wedding cake. Seems a little boring to me and I know I wanted something that would stand out. I’ve loved these donuts for years and knew they would be perfect for my wedding. You are able to pick any of their past flavors and they also deliver which was super convenient. Lori is who I spoke with and she was so pleasant, humble, and helpful when it came to deciding. We even were able to get a big “donut cake” for us that we got to cut and feed each other with which was perfect. Our guests loved these donuts and the display was so pretty. We had a couple white trays and some pretty cake stands for the different flavors. 10/10 recommend going with PVdonuts for your wedding! They will not disappoint.
You have to go in the morning to have the best selection of doughnuts before flavors start selling out.
Best donuts in RI! I've been buying donuts from PVD since it opened and I won't stop anytime soon. The donuts are creative and unique with different flavors every month. $3-4 may seem a little pricey, but for the size, taste, and quality they are 100% worth it! The shop is aesthetic (perfect for photos) and the staff is helpful and friendly. Make sure to preorder online asap to ensure you'll get the donuts you want (they sell out FAST!)
The Donuts are always fresh, the staff are friendly and very helpful.
And did I mention the Donuts!
Presentation was nice but to much sugar for me for the doughnuts that were there that day at least. Took away from the flavors.
The donuts we had were great but the coffee was miserable. Bring your own coffee and you’re good to go!
I really appreciated the people working here, and the location/atmosphere is great. Moreover, the flavors and toppings for the donuts all sound spectacular, and the prices aren't as high as some other gourmet donut places. However, we've tried them three times, and the donuts themselves don't tend to be fresh (even in the morning). Moreover, each variety has tended to be too oily, and the flavors aren't particularly pronounced. For us, it was just a bunch of oil, sugar, and salt.but it's possible we've been spoiled by the donuts out in Southern California and by another shop around here in Providence.
