Indian Restaurant Rasoi reviews
19The food was so fresh and tasty. Drinks were delish. Great, friendly and informative bartender, Domenic, provided outstanding service.
Quick service, delicious food, and great atmosphere. I went with a friend, and we had a lovely time. Great place to sit and talk. Love going here.
They have thali for lunch around $14. Unbeatable price for such a variety of dishes. Food was delicious. Nan was a bit hard.
Servers and the manager very attentive and polite.
We sat outside so I can't speak for the atmosphere inside.
Scrumptious Indian food! Love the ambiance and great service. The garlic naan and chicken tikka are exceptional
The cauliflower 69 was a little over cooked but this is rare. This is my favorite place to dine out
One of my favorite places to eat.
If you enjoy Indian food this place is a must!
If you need a sample dish. The lentil soup is amazing. Try the samosa's w/ mint, tambourine & onion dip on the side?
Brrrr skibbidddy dom dom dom yes yes yes
So good! The food is always delicious. The staff are friendly. Always a pleasure to visit Rasoi!
I was pretty new to Indian food and my friend Steph recommended Rasoi. It has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants!
Every time I go I try to get something new and I am NEVER disappointed. Some of my favorites are the Pakoras, Cauliflower 65, Aloo Tikki Chaat, both the Lababdar and Biryani chicken dishes, and of course any of the fresh Naan! (The honey & ginger one is especially tasty.) I also love all of the Samosas and they’re still perfect when you pop them in the air fryer the next day. (If you even have leftovers, you might just eat them all.)
A bonus is that they have many gluten-free options, which is fantastic for my partner! He loves the Pepper chicken and the Dosas.
If you are dining in, both their alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink selection is awesome. They have a sparkling blackberry lemonade that I just gave to get every time, but I have also enjoyed their turmeric and pomegranate cocktails!
Lastly, the staff is always so friendly, helpful and charismatic. Rasoi is the best!
Went on a Saturday evening and there was a wait to get in which was a good sign. Food was good and the staff were courteous however they were pretty overwhelmed and the service was slow. We had to get up a couple of times to go find a staff member and ask for things like cutlery and naan.
I think Rasoi would be a great place to visit during non peak times. Portions were generous, specially the meat to stew ratio.
Lunch lamb vindaloo was great and reasonably priced, not for anyone who doesn't like spiciness. I was surprisingly most impressed with the rice, all the grains were separate and tender, best rice I ever had.
The food was so good I forgot to take a picture when it was on my plate. I had the tandoori salmon and the seafood Bengali stew. Was helped by a lovely young man named Prakash. The manager Sandeep, was also very helpful and made me a special Indian cocktail “Thandai”. Prakash brought out a delicious chocolate lava cake for desert.
Everyone in our group loved our dishes whether vegetarian or no -veg. The menu is labeled with dishes that are vegan, gluten free, dairy free and spicy. I have some serious dietary restrictions and the server was still able to come up with something for me to eat!
I would have appreciated more frequent visits from the server, and the place was kind of loud for our table to heat each other.
I enjoy the food here. My Indian friends prefer more authentic biryani. The menu is really clear on what gluten gluten or dairy and what is vegan.
What an amazing place to eat, why? Because every staff was friendly and helpful, food was fresh and delicious (with a lot of vegetarian/vegan options), and over all very cute set up.
I had the coconut vegetarian plate with rice (forgot the name), chickpeas Nan Bread, garlic nan bread, potatoes and peas Samosas, and tangerine margarita I loved it!
I was also with friends with gluten, peanuts, eggs and sesame seeds allergies and they found option for them!
Restaurant needs to update their hours. They are not open to 9: 30. I came in to get something to go. Well before 9: 30 I walked to the door and some guy quickly ran out, stood in front of the door and just shook his head. Nah we're closed. Not the first time this has happened.just a suggestion. Because you also have a bar. You should list your dining hours and then your bar hours. Kind of misleading and y'all were rude. 923 y'all ran out that building
From fancy entrées to humble samosas, Rasoi never fails to deliver delicious, vibrant food. There's no shortage of good Indian food in East Providence, but do try Rasoi, you won't be disappointed. Great cocktails too
Ordered delivery for a house party and the service was great, the food was well wrapped which kept it warm - no need to reheat. But most important the food was delicious. Love this place.
Waited so long for my order and Food was all burnt and it’s very expensive. Wish I could post a photo of burnt chicken. Very disappointed
I absolutely love Rasoi. There is another Indian restaurant just down the street but personally, Rasoi’s atmosphere and food are both superior. I come here once a week it’s that good. Every time I have friends or family visiting from out of town this is my restaurant of choice to take them to. The wait staff are kind and welcoming and the quality of the food is always consistent. If you’re looking for Indian food in the Providence area, this is the spot to be!
