Excellent care from doctors and staff who are kind and treat you with courtesy and patience. My family and I have gone to them for 3+ decades. Without exception, I have found RI Eye Inst.doctors and staff to be good listeners, who take time to answer all questions in terms we can understand. Two years ago, my eye doctor in Middletown retired. A neighbor, Michelle Smith, highly recommended Dr. Newton of RI Eye Institute. My husband had already been seeing Dr. Newton so it was an easy choice to sign up with his office. The first thing he found out is that I had signs of glaucoma and promptly recommended that I get iridotomy. I had just been diagnosed with diabetes Type 2 shortly before I saw him and he right away made the timely diagnosis of glaucoma. Dr. Newton has a special way of making his patients so comfortable and remembers details about them. It is always a pleasure to see him and talk about my husband and my mutual love of St. John Virgin Islands and snorkeling and cars. I will highly recommend him to friends and family. Thank you Dr. Newton and his friendly and attentive staff.

A technician got me right away and began processing my eye tests. The doctor came in right on schedule and examined me. I didn't have to wait for anyone, veryone was courteous, efficient and pleasant.thank you for a very good experience

I had an appointment for the next day but due to life circumstances I would need to reschedule. I had stopped by the office to explain and reschedule. The staff there was amazing. The ophthalmic technician made time to take me in immediately to perform the exam. I am very grateful for their professional help and assistance.

Dr Hoffman did a great job. He was precise and careful. The reason I gave four stars was that I had to wait for an hour and a half to see him, but I realize that is uncontrollable with each patient’s needs. I was very pleased with his work and the results. Thank you.
