Jack was a great guide and the food was wonderful. Really enjoyed Plant City, Ellie's and the Malted Barley.

Jack was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of the restaurants and the area. He was also very accommodating and worked hard to make everything perfect.

Erin was our most amazing tour guide. Not only did she take us to off the beaten path places like Leo's a d Hummingbird Cafe, she provided a rich historical education on Newport. She was timely but not pushy and helped us with recommendations after the tour. Erin is awesome and I would request her again. Truly a great, energetic tour guide.

Was a really great experience. Erin was super friendly and knowledgeable. She kept us on track but we never felt rushed. The food was really, really good and I felt like we had a good experience in every stop. It felt more like what the locals go for, rather than the tourist traps. Would absolutely do it again.

My time with this food tour group was with Jack as our guide. I went with my brother and mother. It was amazing. Found some hotspots. I definitely want to revisit a few of these spots on my own time. Thank you for the amazing time, Jack! We learned not only a lot about local flavors, but some we did some sightseeing too!

It was great! Almost all were places I had not tried before, despite many trips to Newport. My only suggestion is that the walking pace between places be slowed a bit (gauge your audience!). Erin was wonderful and knowledgeable about the area, restaurants, and owners.

We loved the small bites of food in 6 restaurants which we never heard of before. Our tour guide Cici was amazing with all the history of Newport and her restaurant selections. It was an easy walk and such an enjoyable experience.

We had a great time on the tour! Jack did a fantastic job giving us a nice history of Providence and talking up the restaurants we visited along the way. We highly recommend the tour to anyone looking to experience Providence.

What a fantastic tour! I was on a girls trip with two other ladies, and we wanted to explore Newport’s food scene, and this was the perfect way to do it. Erin was a fabulous tour guide who peppered in the perfect amount of history, local stories and hidden foodie hot spots. We had a blast, and we would highly recommend this tour.

We did the Providence tour with Jack. The tour included a very diverse but enjoyable selection of places and cuisines. We got to see a lot of Providence, and Jack provided the RIGHT mix of history, culinary context, and humor. GREAT TIME! 100% recommend.

We had a fun, relaxing work event with Rhode Island Food Tours. Jack, our guide, was accommodating very knowledgeable regarding the history of Providence as well as the foods. I was pleasantly surprised at the gluten free choices that they were able to make for me. Being with a very large group, I had planned to be more informed and less fed but each restaurant was able to work with my diet needs.

We had the best time with Jack our guide. He was so knowledgeable and interesting showing us the most delicious stops. I would definitely do it again!

Our guide Elise was fantastic! Very personable and knowledgeable about the area. Even though it was raining she kept the attitude light and made it a good experience for everyone. The restaurants we went to were amazing and had great food. Especially liked the pretzels from The Malted Barley, layered chocolate dessert at Plant City, and the clam chowder and clam cake from Dune Brothers Seafood. Highly recommend!

Me and my wife took the Providence food tour with Jack the other day and had an awesome time! We are locals to MA and have been to Providence a bunch, but wanted to see it in a different light and it did not disappoint.

We got to learn some history that we never knew before about our favorite spots and learn about some cool new restaurant recommendations. Jack was not only knowledgeable about the 6 food spots we went to, but also knew a lot of different other food spots that we added to our list to visit in the future.

The tour itself was also a great balance of food, drink, and walking. We never felt too full, too hungry, or too tired of walking/listening.

Jack was also the most entertaining food tour guide we've ever had! Lively, bounced around the group a bunch to ensure everyone was getting what they wanted from the tour, and you could tell he loves doing this.

Couldn't recommend this tour enough!

We did the Newport food tour and Erin was absolutely fabulous. She was extremely personable and welcoming to everyone on tour. She was informative when it came to both Newport’s rich history and delicious cuisine. She was also extremely passionate about Newports diverse food scene and local chefs which made the experience even more enjoyable. Despite living in Rhode Island my whole life, I learned so much about Newport from Erin. The restaurants were all hidden gems that I had never heard of, Well-loved by locals. The amazing food at each stop was just the cherry on top for an overall perfect tour. Each spot was better than the last. I couldn’t recommend the Rhode Island Red Tour with Erin more!
