Rooftop at the Providence G reviews
19Went here for date night and it didnt disappoint! Mike was our server and he was super nice, personable, quick, and attentive.the place itself is beautiful and the food was great.def recommend checking it out!
A great place with excellent dishes. Our server, John, has twice made our dining experience the best. Highly recommended.
Had a wonderful time. Alex was the best and took great care of us! One of the best servers I’ve had. Can’t beat the fire pit reservation and the cocktails. Great place!
I was able to spend an amazing evening here for a friends birthday. Michael was our server and he was an absolute delight! He was incredibly attentive and so funny!
John was the best waiter ever on my Birthday? He treated me and my Ladies amazing and we will be back in April for my besties birthday?
We had the best time celebrating our best friend's birthday tonight! Mike was our server and we felt like supreme VIP. He treated us like royalty, and made the experience super fun. Drinks and food were A+, and we could have stayed at the fire on the patio all night. Cant wait to come back!
Went to Rooftop at the Providence G for their restaurant week menu and had the best experience! Our server Mike was so friendly and attentive! The restaurant week menu was a "Taste of Rhode Island" with all of the classics and every single course was oustanding! The soup was so flavorful, the lobster ravioli was incredible, and the coffee milk cheesecake was decadent. We will 100% be returning, especially in the warmer weather to take in the city views!
Thought i had a reservation on Monday, come to find out it was for the other rooftop bar down town. Michael was very accommodating and so eager to help us! There was 6 of us last minute. He had us cracking up and was super personable! We got a cheese pizza and a few apps to share and everything was great! We also loved that they were able to make their coffee milk espresso martini without espresso so happily for our friend with a caffeine allergy!
We held a banquet on the Rooftop. It's perfect, rain or shine. Great food.the espresso martinis were a hit. And they even crafted a unique cocktail to celebrate the occasion.
Food was delicious, drinks were on point, and it's a great location with nice views. Specially love the ghost tequila drink with a jalapeño. Just perfect
I am from the Boston area. I've decide to explore Rhode Island's restaurant vibe and all I can say from this place is that the food was ok. I chose it to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was not acknowledged at all by the waiter. I know that I did not mentioned it while making the reservation but I did say it to the waiter at the table and nothing. His attitude towards the table was very poor and dismissive. Seven people, birthday celebration, first night dinning in Providence, poor service, tip included, that's all I can say about my night here. Never again!
Brilliant evening, attentive staff, super good food and drinks. Our server Michael was a delight.
Such a fun, cozy experience sitting by the fire pits on a chilly Friday night! Eunice the bellydancer was a fun addition. Service was timely and no complaints. Food was tasty. Overall would certainly recommend!
Came in for dinner on Thanksgiving Eve and WOW! - was I blown away! The service from Mike was amazing and my coffee milk espresso martini was to die for. 100/10 Will be returning!
Great atmosphere and attentive staff. The chicken and homemade pasta were fantastic! We’ll be back again soon.
We sat outside. A little cool night but pleasant. Firepit was on, they offered blankets which was nice. Expensive signature drinks.
Mike was rude and he took too long to bring my drinks or take more orders, btw it was not busy. I will not be coming back.
The place is very beautiful, nice scenery; drinks were amazing. Although the food has no FLAVOR, BRING YOUR SEASONING! They also do not have tomatoes or mash potatoes?
Came in on a Saturday night, Hostess Emma was so welcoming and was able to accommodate a Fire pit for me! My server Mike was so attentive and made an amazing drink recommendation for me. The bartender Kayla made a very tasty espresso martini. Truly a great experience and will absolutely be coming back!
