Salon Thread, Providence RI

Not the best place for threading in RI. I've been a member ever since they opened, purely out of convenience since I live nearby. I've gotten threaded from at least 10 of their employees over the years. They do an average job and the threader will rush if there is a long line. There have been many times where they threaded too much of my hair off, after I asked them to keep my eyebrows thick. Sometimes they'll do a nice job, so it's really a hit or miss depending on who you get. The interior of the salon is nicely decorated and clean.

Due to COVID, they have you sign-in inside, then wait outside. I did this and they called me 20 minutes after I had already left. It would be much more convenient if they took appointments.

I feel as if they do not value customer loyalty. I once lost the credit card associated with my membership, and they charged me a $10 fee after I had already been a member for 3+ years. They also raised their membership to $15 to $17, and recently raised their eyebrow threading cost to $11. All other threading salons have kept their prices the same ($10 or less and some still offer $15 monthly memberships!) so there is really no point for me to continue coming here for such an overpriced and average experience.

I got my eyebrows microbladed for the first time. Cassya did an incredible job! I love them so much and I get tons of compliments. Thread also charges less than other places I found online.

Oh I love the girls at Smith st.they are the Best. I do my lashes and my facial and I never look so great.every one give me compliments on my natural looks.so yes highly recommend.

I like the membership. Cheaper to keep up our grooming whole face unlimited monthly fee 17 or one stop whole face 35. What you prefer? Join team. Great service

Shotty job and I tipped. Significant amount of hair left and was highly visible so I didn't go back to have her fix it.

Worst experience ever! I tried my hardest to grow my eyebrows for 4 years since a horrible waxing and became very proud of the thickness. The first time in a while i come here to fix them up, they made them so thin like sticks. I couldn’t do anything but they -ruined the four years I tried growing them out to a good size.

Highly recommend! Excellent service, great staffs and clean salon. And the another great thing about them is that they offer membership for threading which we can use unlimited time.

Best place to get lashes done! Also can't forget eyebrows! The girls here are always super polite.

Highly recommend the monthly membership. I don't trust any other place to do my eyebrows, they're fabulous.
