Park Sapowet Marsh reviews
10A beautiful place to walk and see gulls, terns, sandpipers, egrets, oyster catchers, ducks and more
A place that we recently discovered. Nice area, although it's been super windy every time we've been there. There is a nice area for kayaking, couple of areas for fishing. There is a beach, very little sand for sunbathing or swimming. VERY rocky area! But it is a wildlife sanctuary. Plenty of different seabirds to watch if that's your objective, more of course in Spring and Summer.
A beautiful, well preserved wet land and waterway. My kids really love this area, so we go as frequently as possible. It's peaceful.
Went to the marsh to see the fiddler crabs dancing in the tide pools. It was adorable and amazing to see and experience. Lots of rocks so bring water shoes.
Nice time to visit this time of year hardly anyone there. Early morning is the best in (May)
If you look hard enough, RI has so much to discover. These marshes were everything and more! It was breathtaking
It's a nice wooded trail with views id the bay. We usually don't run in to any one while we're there. It's nice for a short walk, but not where I'd go if I'm looking for something more extensive
Small, not alot of people, some cool bird watching. Sadly, you should bring an empty trash bag with you and pick up what others leave behind. It's so peaceful.
So beautiful here. We kayaked amongst a handful of egrets. Their everywhere. When you walk in it's nice to swim too. I saw teenagers jumping off of the bridge near by. We checked when high tide would be. I'll definitely come back here. It was so peaceful.
