Shark Lounge / Blue Fish Peruvian Restaurant Seafood, Pawtucket RI

Nice place but the setup is a little small. I only took a star because the menu is a little confusing and doesn't have everything being offered. For example, the menu doesn't list sodas or fresh juices available.

Waited to be greeted by any employees for about four awkward minutes. No one seemed to be working. No one was behind the bar, no one serving the one other table seated. The portions of the food were huge, which would normally be a good thing, if I enjoyed the food enough to eat it (so many tentacles). I'm sure folks who enjoy Peruvian food would be satisfied. Prices were excellent. Overall, nothing stellar; mediocre at best. No need to return.

My husband got the grilled octupus and I got the seafood fried rice. Everything tasted very fresh off the grill. My husband enjoyed his meal very much and will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes.

Update 5/30/2023 - The food taste and preparation have changed considerably. It seems that chef and cooks joined a different location?

The ceviche was great but the paella gave us food poisoning and had to miss work the next day. Such a different experience to the previous visits to shark lounge where I had given this place a five star ratings.

Not sure what happened here but I never expect to get food poisoning at a seafood place that was amazing in taste, presentation and service.

Bit of a tight spot to go to if you're looking to take family. Most of the space is taken up by the bar. I will say that even though the restaurant is s a bit small, the food is delicious. My husband and father in law who are Peruvian, loved it. We'll definitely be coming back for more.

Drove an hour to get here last night and they were closed. No warning on Facebook and their phone doesn't pick up. Don't bother.

The restaurant is very spacious and nicely decorated. There is also plenty of parking. It took the waiter about 25 min to ask us what we wanted to drink, the other waitress took over and was very pleasant. The food entree wasn’t too bad although, it’s not the best Peruvian food I’ve had it was okay. The octopus appetizer was not good at all. The waitress was nice enough to remove it from the table and take it off the bill. Overall, an okay experience.

Last time I was here the waitress was not very pleasant or attentive as I wish she was it didn’t feel like I was welcome the service was poor food was not that great we waited so long for drinks and food
