Sonia's Near East Market & Deli, Cranston RI

Just purchased his ham sandwich, it usually has much more ham than this, but it’s been a few times already that I received it with very little ham. The atomic bomb sandwich has a great value for its price but I paid $10 for this ham sandwich that was so thin. This is very disappointing because I really like this place.

Consistent exceptional service. Food that explodes with flavor. I always buy lamajunes by the dozens as I've moved to CT and miss this market. Growing up in an Armenian home with no living relatives, I get lost in the market place seeing candies and other things from childhood. I always feel a sense of belonging and my reward is the taste of wonderful reminders of growing up with great food and Tavloo or Nardi.

If you’ve been looking for a Mediterranean place, this is the place to go look no further you will not regret it. You can’t go wrong with the food because everything is so delicious for the fresh pita and hummus to the salads and sandwiches. Enjoy!

Excellent place. They have everything! Sevan and Ara are so nice and they run a fabulous store. The food is some of the best around.

I had the Atomic sandwich and it was REALLY GOOD. Highly recommend. Seems like a great spot to have lunch. Plenty of parking, comfortable booths. I don’t think they have Wi-Fi but if they did it could be even better. Armenian groceries for sale.

I wrote a big long review about how spectacular it was here and it seems to have disappeared for some reason. So now I have this short one but I really did love it here.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, was warmly greeted within 2 seconds of entering. The wrap I got, The Sonia Falafel w/ gyro- was fantastic. Automatic add to the sandwich rotation! Thanks guys!

Sonia's has the best sandwiches and middle eastern specialties. I always go for the marinated eggplant, fresh pita bread, and gibnah (braided cheese). It's my go-to spot for middle eastern food and a good sandwich.

️️️️️️ 6 stars. Place is phenomenal! I just devoured the Red and White sandwich and just like the other sandwiches I’ve had, it was top notch. Place is always jumping and they still get the food out quick. I have had nothing but great experiences here. Thank you Sonia’s. Lunch was bomb as always!

Menu price was wrong, charged me an extra 4 dollars, i declined to purchase. Parking lot was tiny and no room to park. Went in and was ignored for several minutes

My bf comes here all the time & talks about how good it is so i wanted to try it! I got a falafel sandwich and it was AMAZINGG.the staff is also so friendly.super affordable and amazing quality! <3

Food made fresh, high quality, and was delicious. Portion sizes and value for the money were great. The employees were super-friendly and very patient with answering questions from other customers while we were there. In addition to the fresh-made sandwiches and deli, there's also a small grocery selection with a good variety of products for Lebanese, Syrian, and other related cuisines.

Bought a $70 fattoush salad for Xmas dinner.it literally was ALL lettuce! Maybe one tomato…Not happy at all, and embarrassing to put it on my table.

Honestly the most amazing food! The quantity and quality is excellent, no other place I've had of similar food could possibly come close to the level this place is on! Thank you so much for the food and the atmosphere and people were very welcoming! Will definitely be going back to this place in the future!

Only been here twice but I want to keep going back for this Armenian bread I'm addicted to Choreg (as pictured). Great deli. Soups. Spices. Friendly service. Worth a stop.

Love you so much Sonia’s, but every. Single. Time.we call it’s busy and online ordering is turned off - no matter how early we try. It’s so disappointing because we want to give you more business and understand everyone is busy and short staffed… but come on!

Their salads are beautifully made with fresh ingredients and very tasty! The sandwiches also amazing! There are many Armenian foods in their small market. The people are lovely.
