Steve's Famous Pizza, Portsmouth RI

Horrible could even eat had to cancel took over an hour still no food had to cancel waited my whole lunch time

Stopped by today while visiting from Boston. Will definitely come back next time I’m around!

We love Steve's! It's more of a Pizza Hut-style pizza than, say, a traditional NY-style, but man, it is so delicious. The cheese is great and they don't skimp on the toppings (linguica and onions for the win). Their subs are fantastic, too. Delivery is always on time, never had an issue with that. Steve's pizza is famous for a reason!

I ordered a wrap and a soda and they charged me $18! It states on website menu sandwich cost $6.79 not $16.79. I called and man claimed he was owner and that was cost. How can you list one price and charge $10 more. I paid in cash think driver lied. Don't trust Steve's now. This building orders constantly. Will spread word of crook.

Delivery driver would not leave unless he got a tip in cash. He said “where is the cash tip, I delivered here to you” it was very weird and I have never had that happen before. Food was alright and Steve’s is just 5 min away (exactly), but because of this delivery experience I probably won’t be giving business here again.

Ordered large blt for $11. Stale bread, pathetic amount of old overcooked bacon, old lettuce and tomato. (embarrassing)!
Getting a 2 because the guy at the counter was nice.

Steve’s has been my go to pizza place lately, and I have yet to be disappointed! Everything from the steak tip dinner, to the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla, to the classic cheese pizza has been exceptional in taste, quality, and freshness. I usually order delivery and it has gotten here in as little as 20 minutes; and never more than 45! If you’re looking for that hole-in-the-wall restaurant with amazing food, you’ve found it.

I ordered 2 hamburgers, onion rings, and French fries. All were cold. I live approx 5 minutes from the store. I recieved 1 hamburger and 1 sub. I was told it was my fault. Never had a problem ordering from any other pizza shop in the area. First and last time I will order from Steve's.

By far one of the best pizzas my family and I have had in the area. We have been looking for a place to call our go to and this definitely makes the list. We have tried many different places but Steve’s reminds me of places I’ve traveled. Well worth trying and definitely going back.

A week ago Saturday night I ordered a sm pepperoni and onion pizza. Very friendly on phone. When I received the pizza looks someone forgot the onions on the pizza so they threw some burnt grilled onions.
I called next day to report it and that was it!

Thanks to you all @ Steve’s for always having my back with dinner when our own restaurant is closed. The pizza is always incredible along with the steak tips and fish & chips dinners! You’re the best!

Just had a very disappointing meal from Steve's famous pizza. Order was supposed to be a delivery but after waiting a while I called because I realized they didn't have my address. Food was waiting for me to pickup. I mentioned that the food should by now is cold. Oh no I was told we can keep it hot. We get it to you shortly
It was shortly and? Nothing worse than cold fish and chips. Also no coleslaw. Very angry. I have had good food and service in the pSt buti think I will pass the next time.

Haven't been there since 1985, I grew up living right next door. Use to love the meatball grinder and I was in the area and decided to stop and get one to go. U live in New Bedford so it was a bit of a drive home but I was not disappointed. Exactly as I remember from way back in the day. Cant wait to bring my Husband to try it!

My wife and I attended a post wedding affair held on Sunday at Colt State Park. Food for the party was prepared by Steve's and it was wonderful. The sandwiches and salads were delicious, fresh and presented nicely. Everyone I talked to enjoyed the food and several people wanted to know who provided it. Steve's helped to ensure a good time for everyone.

Where’d the nacho cheese go, Steve’s? We used to live in Portsmouth a few years ago, and used to used their cheese fries (made with nacho cheese) all the time. Moved downtown for a while, and now to Middletown. Finally decided to get take out again, and got cheese fries- made with some cheese that got kinda hard. Very lack-luster, and difficult to eat.
Pizza was okay, grilled chicken on salad was a bit over cooked, but the all the veg was fresh and crisp.

We got some steak and cheese a couple times and they're REALLY good sandwiches and the French fries too.

I ordered a Portuguese world fair sub and a cheese pizza. Portuguese sub was a bomb! If you like spicy stuff you must try! The cheese pizza was very buttery and cheesy. And the crust were just perfect -crispy outside soft and cushy inside. The service was speedy and the staffs were friendly.
