Stop & Shop, Bristol RI

Yay! It's a market! Kidding aside, they have a wide selection of food items. I'm surprised by the variety. Local produce too! Yaz queen! Shop on!

I saw recent bad reviews and do not agree with most of them. Most if not all employees work very hard to please the customer. I have seen Ann (which one review is negative about her) ; she works swiftly, and does a pretty good job in an area that is demanding and non-stop. She is courteous and very helpful.
One review does not always describe the situation.
Stop n Shop is a great place to shop.

It's a Stop & Shop. One of the cleaner ones, ample parking, but at the end of the day, it's nothing too special or too different from all the other locations near you in the Ocean State.

I shop here all the time because it's close, I went there last night and did my normal shopping, but I fo back this morning to grab a couple things I forgot and they ask if I want a bag, but tell me it's going to cost money. It didn't cost money last night and they already got rid of plastic bags, which I get. Now you're going to charge me for paper bags? So you're adding a fee to shop at your store? I will not come back unless this changes, I will drive twice as far just on principal alone to go shopping because this is absolutely ridiculous, and pathetic in every way.

Don't shop here often, usually only to stock up on sale items or desperately needed last minute needs. This week's sale was a stock up!
We went mid afternoon on a rainy Sunday. We purchased some items from the deli which had a couple of people waiting and a couple of people working! Very little wait time! I then went to seafood area for the frozen shrimp that was on sale and there was plenty in stock. Not so for the T-bones, we asked a meat dept worker where they were, he "pointed". We didn't see any or even a sign promoting them. I turned back to the worker & he was gone. I guess I'll try later in the week. I also forgot the chicken!

That's all we wanted and headed to check out where we found registers staffed by people! It was the stores first day of charging for paper bags? What's that all about? I don't care about the dime, but is the economy so bad that Stop n Shop need to recover the cost of doing business?

Decent store but employees need a seminar on how to act in public. One manager named Rui Souza is disrespectful to staff and customers everyday. Unsure why being a manager a stop-n-shop put him up on this high-horse but this guys not better than anyone. Probably has to sneak up on a dog to pet it.

Clean well stocked fresh produce but lots of ignorant ppl that work there. Especially the older ladies in the front end supervisor roles.

This store has gone downhill in recent years. The produce used to be great, now it's hit and miss. I picked up a bag of Clementines and there were 2 moldy ones in the bag. I went to get a package of cheese wraps from the cooler and they had expired a week ago. Only go there for a few things I can't find elsewhere but not always able to find it here.

Basic Stop & Shop, has large variety of everything. Staff is nice to work with. Robot keeps the isles safe!

Mad today no one at the Express register went to the next one waited, next thing Express opened and 3 people ran there.
