The team at Studio 101 are consummate professionals and experts in their craft. Whether it's a stylist like Taylor, in my case, or her assistant Sydney, the entire process is delightful. Every time I visit, I always walk out beyond satisfied with their work. They consistently exceed my expectations, and I'm so happy to have them as a part of my self-care routine.

Got my best haircut yet, from Rae today! She listened to everything I wanted in the cut, and assured that I was happy with everything she was doing along the way. I’m completely obsessed with how my hair looks and feels and I will absolutely be returning to her in the future!

The first thing you notice is how beautiful and clean the salon is. I was welcomed right in and made to feel comfortable and brought a hot coffee on a rainy cold morning. Maddie was my stylist and we had a great consultation and then she got to work doing her magic. I interacted with multiple team members as they clearly work together to make the client experience seamless, and everyone was so friendly. I absolutely love my finished result and the experience, looking forward to coming back for a long time!

My first visit to Salon 101 today. Brilliant salon full of light and good vibrations. The receptionist was a pilar of customer service and kindness. My hairstylist Rae was vibrant, attentive and knowledgeable. Rae collaborated with the salon owner Kristen on my haircut which came out superbly! The clients here spoke lovingly of owner Kristen. I can speak volumes for stylist Rae too:)

103$ taken out of my account ridiculous. Policy should give people benefits of the doubt only 1 time missed. Never got call or email. Yet charged ME, absolutely ridiculous. Didn’t even give me a chance. Family in the hospital and with collage finals. If you’re going to spend a lot of money on your hair go somewhere else at appreciates you SPENDING 400 dollars on your hair to then treat you like you are nothing shows they don’t care about clients.

Kristen is absolutely amazing! I'd been searching for a new stylist in Providence for a while and stumbled onto Kristen's Instagram page-I immediately loved the work that I saw. I first came in for a haircut and it was exactly what I was going for! We hit it off so well that a week later I came back and she gave me highlights for the first time and they could not have looked better. Will be coming back here regularly for sure! So happy I found her!

I had a lot going on family in the hospital, school. Forgot once to come in. Charged me full price. Only missed once I have always been good with going in. I messed up once and that’s how I was treated, I will never go back.

Tiffany did an amazing job with my hair! I came in with very dark and grown-out roots and she created a beautiful natural blonde correction to my hair. My ends were dry and breaking and she so she also gave me a wonderful haircut. I was extremely happy when I left the salon and felt like a new person! She was professional and kind and helped me also leave in time to make an appointment that I had. Salon 101 was clean, professional, polite, and they even offered tea/coffee and to hang my coat.

I chose studio 101 by a recommendation of a friend as my hair dresser was no longer available. My friend recommended Jessica who also cuts her hair. I was nervous as it had been over a year since I had my last haircut and wasn’t sure what to expect. She was warm and inviting and so great at asking exactly what I wanted to do but also suggesting things she felt would help. It’s nerve racking going to someone new after being with the same person for 8 years now. But I’m so happy with my haircut, it went from flat and bland to having volume and shape, the color is amazing. She took 4 HOURS on my hair and truly cared about every single little detail and didn’t let me leave until it was perfect! I’m beyond happy with Jessica and am truly happy she was recommended as she will definitely be my new hairdresser! I couldn’t be happier!

If I could give 10 stars ️ Maddy is kind and does an amazing job. This is the second time I have my hair done with Maddy. She went above and beyond. Quick note here, they use best products on your hair. The staff is super friendly and professional.

Kristen and her team are absolutely amazing at doing hair. They have taught me so much about how to take care of my hair and keep it healthy. I have well water and they are experts on how to color treat well water hair. I will forever go to Studio 101! I love it here.

Love this haircut place! From the hostess to my hairdresser, Maddy, it was overall a very pleasant and relaxing experience! Maddy heard my requests of the haircut I wanted and she did it flawlessly! She also made really nice curls in the end that made me feel anew! Will be back again for sure!

Studio 101 is the epitome of elegance. The whole space is so beautiful and relaxing. All the girls are so chatty and welcoming- I haven’t had a single bad experience or interaction. Shout out to Tiffany for being the absolute BEST. My hair journey has been a wild ride but there’s literally no one else in the whole world I would trust with my hair!

I chose this salon after some research online, and had a great haircut with Lori. The salon was patient with some schedule changes I needed to make, which was appreciated. However, when Lori was just about to take me back for the shampoo she said "I'm going to give you a treatment". I didn't know what she meant, and she didn't mention what it was or the fact it cost $40.00! I don't know how a business thinks it's ok to just tell someone they are going to "give them a treatment" without discussing the price. If she had said " I recommend a treatment-the cost is $40.00, is that ok? ", that would have been fine. The answer would have been no. But to not find out it was an extra until I checked out, just feels like a money-grab for customers. Shame on this business for this type of practice, all extra costs should be discussed beforehand.

My mom and I came from New York to RI for a family matter and we wanted to get our hair washed and blow dry. I called once they opened and they got us in right away. Once we got there they let our hairdressers know we have arrived and offered beverages. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We also brought our dog and they were all so accommodating to us. The two girls doing our hairs were absolutely amazing, they did our hair exactly how we asked and even explained everything they did. The salon itself was beautiful and big. Although we were last minute appointments and out of state we felt so welcomed and appreciated. I would love to come back and would recommend everyone to come.

My stylist Maddy was absolutely amazing! She was so personable and truly listened to what I wanted with my hair and 1000% delivered, I had such a wonderful time from start to finish!

Such an amazing experience with Tiffany! Literally the sweetest, and keeps my hair healthy and blonde. I love coming to her.

Wonderful experience at Studio 101 with Abby! Went from having wirey salt and pepper locks back to dark brown, healthy hair with great product to take home. The salon is super clean, cute, and professional. Can't wait for my next appointment.
