Swagat Indian Food reviews
16If you want authentic Indian vegetarian food you’ve found your best bet in RI! Best pesarettu I’ve had in years. Will definitely be back for more.
Truly amazing food, very tasteful and homely food. Owner (Nagendra) is awesome host and very friendly.
The taste and quality of the food here is always consistent and tasty. The owner is very humble and willing to hear out to customers. The idlis are like a pieces of cloud and Dosa qualifies the golden color check (unlike the ghost dose that most restaurants serve). Must try if you are in this area.
Great place to have excellent India food. Awesome service. Rare to find a place like this. Strongly recommended.
Homestyle Indian cuisine. Reasonably priced. Owner is really courteous.
Parking can be tricky on busy days.
Please call the restaurant and confirm the days menu before placing an order.

Healthy to eat everyday as well which i discovered from here fresh tasty yummy food Thanks Andi
Excellent food and the best service of any restaurant I've been to. This was the first time I've eaten here and I'm already looking forward to coming back.
Every thing is always great I personally like it the paneer hotdog also you can eat something new every day over hear so go and check it out.
Their South Indian food cuisine is top notch, especially their dosas and chole bahture! Although the space is small there is a lot of love! The owner of the restaurant was very kind and helpful.
Uncle's food were fresh and delicious. Please try their paneer tikka hot dog, laddu & veg Puff.
The food & hospitality at Swagat was amazing. We were visiting RI with our friends & It was our first time trying the restaurant. We loved the food. Panneer tikka hot dog & punugulu were the menu highlight. The owner was very sweet & gave us a complimentary icecream as it was our first time there. Overall, it’s a must try restaurant.
Hello Nagendra Ji-
Thank you so much for catering food for the Satyanarayan Pooja at our place.
All the items you prepared were on spot.
The veggie cutlets were a hit both among kids and adults. Very crispy and tasty. The size was just perfect, not too big or too small. Thank you for providing the sauce along with it. Everyone relished the cutlet with the sauce.
Veg kadhai was great with right amount of veggies and the gravy, not too thick to feel dry or not too thin like curry.
Kaju paneer was very very yummy, as you had promised. Paneer was very soft and just melted in mouth like butter. Very rich and delicious dish.
Punjabi dal tadka was the show stopper. Everyone really praised the dal and surely took a second serving of it. Thanks for packing it in a big vessel and providing extra trays.
The rice was great as well, cooked perfectly with each grain separate.
Overall, all our guests were happy and satisfied with the food as were we. The quantities of food you provided were ample and we never felt we would run out of it inspite of it being so delicious.
Thanks again, we would definitely cater food from you for our next function.
The place is not that big and like a decorated restaurant BUT the food is awesome, home made taste and much better than many 5 star restaurants.
We enjoyed each item. The food was so yummy.
Very good Indian restaurant near Rhode Island and Massachusetts border.
Food tastes just like home cooked meal, and reasonably priced. The owner is very polite and friendly.
Must visit if you’re in the area.
This was my first visit and I liked the taste of the food (chole bature). Priced a bit high for the portion however worth paying given the taste. A quick afternoon lunch with office colleagues was a good choice. Please call them before going in as the availability of the dishes vary daily. A welcoming place with 5-6 tables. Parking is at the back of the building and a bit tricky to take out. Would recommend trying to if you are around Woonsocket.
