Tav-Vino Restaurant reviews
7Although we had changes to our group number Paul did a fabulous job pleasing our party 14 culinary delights. Thank you excellent job!
We arrived early for our 7pm reservation for party of 4 and was told they cancelled our reservation.no explanation except they claimed they called (lie) or apology.very disappointed
Excellent place to stop by en a boat or in car. All the food and service was top notch. Plates a a bit big.
It's delicious with an amazing view. Just went back. Still amazing and still delicious. Will worth the drive.
A big nope from our table of four! We went to Tav-Vino last night to celebrate our friends’ birthdays. We’ve been there before and had an enjoyable experience so it was our friends’ choice. This time so extremely disappointing! For starters, after requesting a specific table and getting the assurance that it was reserved for us, we arrived to find that it was now reserved for another party! Two of us then ordered the special which was listed on the white board as “lobster, scallops and shrimp. ” It arrived with literally one scallop, one shrimp, and one minuscule piece of lobster, if that’s what you could even call it! I complained to our waitress who quickly dismissed it, saying “yeah, you only get a tiny piece of lobster” before she ran away, not to come back. The icing on the cake was the more than half hour wait for the check, which was scribbled on little pieces of paper and illegible, except for the total of $250! Could have been so much better with simple changes. Such a shame. You’ve lost four locals who love to go out and patronize the local establishments!
Atmosphere and food were excellent. Service was good. I do have a problem when charged $8.50 for a tonic water and bitters.
The food was so flavorful. Every dish had us talking! Our server had the best table side manner.she did everything right. Knew when to give us time and when to step up. Also.love the dogs! We will be back and we will spread the word!
