Tavolo Wine Bar & Tuscan Grille

Thanksgiving was great time. The food was not very flavorful but it was ok. The place is nice the staff is excellent.

I just had one of the best steaks in my life. The menu is great, plenty of unique options. Great atmosphere and service.

The food was good but the service was a little less than desirable. Wait service felt a bit impatient and preoccupied.

Been there many times before. This particular time was terrible. Food was fully disappointing. Not good

Had a girls night here. The place was packed. We didn't have a reservation so there was a little bit of a wait, but we didn't mind. I had the Pear Elderflower Martini that was very good. For an appetizer, we shared the Burrata Fig Flatbread. For my entree, I chose the Lobster Raviolis. The drinks and food were equally delicious! I loved the variety of the menu of different meats and seafood plus all the pasta dishes. Service was great with how busy it was. Parking I felt was limited with other restaurants on site, but if you don't mind waiting, you'll find a space.

Decided on Tavolo for a nice lunch with a friend and I was pretty happy with the choice. The restaurant itself is nice, and the food was average to good for the most part.

I opted for one of the prix fixe lunches - pasta and bean soup, chicken parm, and tiramisu. My dining partner order some calamari to share.

The soup was good - herby and flavourful, it was a nice start to the meal.

The calamari was fantastic. It was my first time having it, and it reminded me of THE BEST CLAM STRIPS EVER. I imagine that there isn't much that can go wrong with fried squid, but this was as far away from wrong as you can get.

The chicken parm was, unfortunately, the low point of the meal. The chicken was rather dry and not particularly well seasoned. At least the pasta and sauce were good.

The tiramisu was as expected. Espresso soaked lady fingers and a nice marscapone mixture, it was a redeeming ending to the meal.

Would I go back?

The food was mostly average and acceptable. I could go to any of a dozen other Italian restaurants and get something as good or better - I could, for example - have gone to Bellingham Palace and have had an Italian Pupu platter that would put this chicken parm to shame.

If you are nearby and looking for Italian food now, it is a solid choice, but if you have time to go somewhere else, you might want to keep looking.

That said, their menu is extensive and I am sure that there are things that they do very well. Also, their thing seems to be wine, but I do not drink so that was totally lost on me.

Stopped by on a business trip for a quick dinner bite & food was low tier, not very tasty. Staff seemed so short staff which caused service to be poor.by the time we got our food it was cold not to mention greasy watery pasta.will be the last time I show up here very poorly ran by whoever is in charge of this business.

Food quality has drastically declined.
I love their pasta fazol soup. Today it was all water and pasta. No taste, no bread was served. My friend had the Cod took one bite and sent it back.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a wonderful extensive wine list. The service is first rate: our server was attentive without hovering. I will have to eat there again before I can really commit to how good the food is. They have a varied menu, and I may simply have not made the best choices. The tiramisu was to die for, as was the espresso.

What a wonderful restaraunt, the food was excellent. Our server Cheryl was very professional (&witty). What a great birthday. Classy is under rated.

Food was good could be better but beware if you dine there this place automatically charges you a service charge for using credit or debit which is down right extremely low I have never been charged for using a debit card or credit and it's not like the prices are low to justify a processing charge it is a little on the high side for food pricing. I belive it is very low for a restaurant to charge you processing fees which most customers now use plastic to pay. Just extremely low to do what their doing not fair at all and waitress was still going to charge same price even when I pulled out cash when I asked how much she told me the total price until I said why should I pay for processing charge when I'm paying cash another way this place will rip you off without you realizing very low of this restaurant and sleezie.

Love this place.have great bar prices for apps and they taste delicious! I like the fig pizza and sausage with rabe’…Clean restaurant and nice cozy atmosphere!

I wrote a review many years ago and gave it 5 stars. … I have been to this location so many times I cannot count …. But my rating has dropped to three stars not for the wait staff who are exceptional… Not for the service that is exceptional …. Not for the ambience that is exceptional… It’s for the food! Went there three times in one week and one dinner was worse than the other… Osso bucco stringy and dry …. Appetizer.sausage and Rabe was not even edible …And they don’t have Tavolo Cabernet anymore…They have switched to a red blend that has no body and very little taste …. I can understand having a bad night but three in a row? It’s going to be a while before I go there again… Maybe they’ll have changed chefs?

Food and staff were great.recommend the margarita pizza and the Stuffed Atlantic cod.
Wonderful experience.will definitely recommend.

Have a granddaughter at Bryant went up to see her and by chance we went here. Thought the food and service was excellent. Would recommend to anyone. Crystal was our waitress went above and beyond. Veal chop over the top and I had “Sunday Sauce” which was delicious.
Granddaughter had flatiron steak done to perfection.
Will look forward to our next visit up to see her. In Smithfield for sure I know where we will eat!

You get plenty of great food for the price, good service too. Pasta, Seaford, Steaks plus the specials sounded good. (Though we had none). Huge wine list and a full bar. Wife said her vodka and tonic was made right. If you ask me a good Italian restaurant MUST have tiramisu and expresso, and they do. Make the trip 1 time and you'll be back again, trust me. Just got an $80 takeout meal. Besides it being the most salty food I have ever had, the hostess told me that they do not give bread for takeout orders. This makes no sense to me as I could go there and get a $20 entree and get bread yet spending $80 is not warrant free bread.

Went to lunch with several friends today. The service was terrible! Waitress did not offer more water for the table nor did she check back to see how everything was. The food was good but our experience was not.
