Thai Restaurant Thailand reviews
21 I discovered this place over the summer and wish I had sooner! It's absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in RI. I go at least twice a month, sometimes twice a week. I've gotten my girlfriend, friends and coworkers all hooked on it too.
It says right on the menu that they can make almost anything vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free! The food always comes out fast and is consistently great. Very affordable - and it's BYOB! My favorite dishes are the mango curry, pad see ew, and pineapple fried rice.
One of my favorite restaurants in pvd! Takeout is good but the space is so nice i would highly recommend eating in.if you're a fan of spicy get the gar pow, if you're looking for something more mild the mas saman (also veg) or pad see eww are my favorites! And of course you can't leave without some thai tea.
Nice place. Fast service. Pretty much never a wait.
I always get the yellow curry which I love.
No Wi-Fi available.
Not sure if they got a different cook or changed management, but the food was not the usual. Water tasted over chlorinated as well. This was my go-to Thai place until my last visit.
Fantastic food! Everything was made fresh. Nothing was oily or too salty or too spicy - it was perfect. The owner was so nice and hospitable, and the restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. The desserts were incredible, too! Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in Providence!
Great food, tastes AMAZING.i ordered the drunken noodles and the spice is on point! I would say for the portion it is a bit pricey but non the less amazing food.definitely my new go to restaurant in providence
Food is good & freshly made but a little on the pricy side. The chicken fried rice was good.
The food was fine. However they forgot our order and cost us an extra 30-minute wait, which was kinda frustrating. (with no apologies)
This was my second order and, unfortunately, it did nothing to change my original opinion.the food is just not tasty. This time I ordered the 'Gar Pow. Mouth on Fire' and the Gyoza. The Gyoza was just ok. Nothing to justify the expense. The Gar Pow was very hot in flavor, which was nice because when I usually order something spicy hot, it's always toned down for American taste buds. BUT, there was no flavor really. Very few vegetables (I know it's a chicken dish but just a couple of pieces of onion and peppers?) The sticky rice that came with the dish was wrapped in some kind of paper so I had to peel a lot of the rice away, tearing the paper and leaving some of the rice on the paper in the process. If this is an authentic way of serving the rice, it didn't work for me. I wound up throwing most of the food away, which is a shame and a waste of money. I did the same with my first order. Too bad. I wanted to like the food (which is why I ordered from the restaurant twice.) Not recommended.
Great pad Thai and the classic fried rice was great. I loved how crispy the rice was. Will definitely be ordering from here again
Wow! Easily the best Thai I have ever had. I have had food prepared by native Thai people, and this is some of the most authentic, delicious *food* I have ever had, hands down. The portions are perfect. The staff is wonderful. I love the Drunken Noodles, the Shrimp Pad Thai, and the scallion pancakes. The curries are amazing as well. You can't go wrong with this menu. Priced right too.
Thai is one of my favorite foods and they 100% delivered. I usually ask for Thai hot and get white people level of spice. Thailand gave me Thai Thai hot and it was amazing! So much spice and flavor. I will be dining here very frequently.
Went to pick up food, they forgot my drinks. They couldn’t refund so they call me saying that refunds only in cash… they invited me to come back collect the refund and the “drinks are on us”. Just left the restaurant with 5 bucks and no drinks. Really bad experience
Terrible customer service after receiving an order Of what was supposed to be squid but wasn’t squid at all lol they still charged me for it even when I told they why it wasn’t eaten.
I had the red curry with shrimp and my partner had pad thai with chicken and a thai iced tea; everything was fantastic. The older man who was waiting tables (who I assume is the owner?) was very kind and appreciative. It's crazy that this restaurant was not packed on a Friday night! If you're reading this and on the fence, just go! Great prices, chill atmosphere, and amazing food.
We had two appetizers and three entrees; all were delicious. The stars of the evening were the chive squares appetizer and the tofu mango curry. They have a nice selection of vegetarian dishes. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable.
They don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own.
The three of us give Thailand six thumbs up!
Another amazing restaurant in the heart of federal hill (it is right opposite Tavolo Wine Bar)! It is definitely one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to! The ambience was enhanced by the modern style decor. The food was great and service was impeccable, leaves you with a homely vibe:) I tried the classic Pad Thai noodles with chicken and my friends tried rice and curry, everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and (ofcourse) in the mood for Thai food!
Do like my review if you find it useful!
Food is amazing, but the hours are frustratingly inconsistent. I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve called for takeout and they were closed. Nothing posted on their door, social media, or any indication of when they’ll reopen. Heartbreaking since it’s one of my favorite places to eat when I can get it.
Sadly they close at 8: 20 and not 9pm as indicated. They will refuse to pickup after 8: 20pm so get your orders in an hour early!
Everything was delicious! Great service. The currys are my favorite. #vegan options available!
