The 02908 Club, Providence RI

Definitely do not rent from 02908. This was my roommates and I first apartment and the leasing manager made this place and the company seem like a dream come true. I wish we read the reviews before. Any issue you having they will tell you to put in rent room then not come and fix it. Or you have to call the office, however, when you do call they never want to help you, they give you attitude, raise their voice and try to convince you they are on top of everything when honestly they aren’t. My roommates and I on the 30th of November were minding our business when our power was shut off. We have utilities included so we don’t deal with national energy or anything, we just pay the money each month and 02908 is meant to take care of it for us. I was in the middle of my shower and got out to see what was going on. National Energy shut off our electricity because 02908 had not been paying our electricity bill. It was winter temperatures so we went to the office of 02908, frustrated and confused of course. The leasing manager told us to calm down, then the operations manager came out to discuss with us what was going on. Our apartment never had any account with national grid and we had no idea where our money was going to for months. The operations manager suggest that we ask the girls above us if we could sleep up there since we had no heat. Then suggested we sleep at the office so we can stay warm. On the way out of the office she called us high maintenance for saying we wanted our heat, electricity on and no rats in the apartment since we had one in the apartment a month prior where we were the ones to get rid of it.

The house i was living in was sold to 02908 midway through my lease, they charged me and my roommates thousands for damages that were pre existing. Didn’t have a dryer for 2 months and was cussed at by staff on multiple occasions. 100% not worth it, go to another company.

This place has no control and seemingly no concern about the well-being of their properties/tenants. Not only do they let rats run rampid on their properties because of students leaving out trash. There is trash, broken glass, liquor bottles music and Fireworks until 3am all over the streets because they can’t set basic rules for their tenants. I would never let my child stay in one of their properties knowing how unsafe and unclean it is especially Since PC is a catholic Establishment. Deplorable!

Kicking the door of tenants and then sending threatening threats over Facebook messenger that they'd go harder on the victim if people kept talking about it

They will charge you for anything they can… Especially if they buy the wrong wattage microwave that broke bc the fuse blew it. Don’t bother painting or cleaning the apartment when you move out they’ll charge you for a “cleaning” even though it’ll be cleaner than when you moved in & the floors will be covered in years of dirt. If your drains clog or toilet just unclog them yourself bc they don’t take into account the years of clogged pipes they let you move in with you’ll be charged anyway. Make sure you video everything before you move in because they’ll pretend you did it, and not the person 5 years ago that they never bothered to fix with the money they took from years of previous tenants! If you’re looking to be robbed this is your place!
