The Bayberry Newport reviews
14This bed and breakfast has become a yearly tradition for my husband and I. Just got home from an amazing night. I cannot wait for next year! They thought of everything. The room was spotless. Had all the amenities you would ever need. The bed was so comfortable. The fresh made cookies were delicious. Breakfast was incredible. You feel so welcome the second you pull in the driveway. It’s located centrally to restaurants and downtown. Thank you again, Tate for making our stay special.
The Bayberry Inn was fabulous! Tate and Angela were so sweet and accommodating…we will definitely be back!
Thank you, Tait (Operations Manager) for a lovely visit to The Bayberry and Newport! This adorable modern inn offered all we needed, and more. The breakfast was delicious and made to order, the bed was soft and welcoming, the parking was simple and convenient. We look forward to visiting you again soon!
Very Clean / Friendly / 5 Stars!
One of the best recent hotel/inn experiences my wife and I had in a long time. The Bayberry was gorgeous and super clean! It had old world charm but with modern decor and luxury. The staff knew about the history of the place (owned by a Captain), and were proud of it - along with much of the old architecture and design. We signed up for breakfast and were delighted to find out it was a chef who was very accommodating [diet/allergies etc. ] and made amazing 5 star dishes. He also was very friendly and treated us like royalty. We will certainly be going back to this place - and I can only highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Newport, Rhode Island.
***10 minute or less walk to virtually anywhere in Newport.
We had a fantastic overnight getaway at the Bayberry Inn! Tate made sure we were set for a late check in. We loved the 1837 room with a jacuzzi and a fireplace! Gourmet breakfast included was to die for! Lighting in the room was either super bright or too dim. No closet in the room for our stuff. We worked around both of these items, so still giving 5 stars. Excellent location! Quiet! Highly recommend. We'll be back!
Sweet place, good breakfast.minor complaint: a bit musty.but i feel like that’s maybe unavoidable with hot tubs in room.will return!
Bayberry Inn is an absolutely wonderful BNB! The home is just lovely - beautifully decorated yet very comfy and cozy! The rooms are very spacious and the living room, dining room are great! The staff is very hospitable and a delicious breakfast was provided! We will definitely stay here again!
Stayed at the Bayberry Inn for our first trip to Newport, RI. This b&b was perfect for our three night stay. Leading up to our trip the owners were super responsive and helpful in planning our weekend. The rooms were clean and decorated beautifully. The included daily breakfast blew us away. Hats off to the chef! And location location location! The heart of town is within walking distance allowing us to walk to all dinners. Will definitely be coming back!
Our first time here…. We stayed in the Anna Hunter room which was perfect size for two people. Gorgeous bathroom. Tv a little small but doable. Only complaint there is no full length mirror! Breakfast was delicious and the host are so nice and willing to help and suggest restaurants/things to do in the area. Will definitely be visiting again!
We had such a nice experience celebrating our "delayed mini-moon" at The Bayberry. We were nervous to stay at a big hotel for our first trip this year and are so glad we gave the inn a try. The rooms are clean, modern, yet cozy and historic feeling as well. Breakfast was exceptional. We will absolutely be returning to this beautiful house!
Decided to take a little last minute getaway to Newport and had such a fantastic experience at the Bayberry Inn. We arrived late, getting to our room with cookies on the nightstand. The inn is tastefully designed and immaculately clean. Unlike most of the other inns, they have a large parking lot and is in the historic section of town. Our room had a fireplace and jetted tub - I’m seriously all about the charm. We slept in, thought we missed breakfast, but came downstairs to Chef Tait greeting us and immediately whipping up a two course breakfast for us to start the day. Being from the restaurant industry, we’re big on hospitality - 10/10 would recommend! We will definitely be back.
We have stayed here 3 times for our wedding anniversary and it has been great every time! Truly our home away from home!
This wonderful bed and breakfast was a lovely weekend away. I had the pleasure of spending my mini moon here and could not have asked for a better stay. The house and room are beautifully styled, impeccably, clean and gave us a comfy and home like feeling! Tate was an awesome chef! Great with recommend for restaurants and even picked us up after our cliff walk and gave us a lift back into town. I highly recommend this place, it felt like a home always from home. Centrally located and so easy to walk anywhere!
