The Punjab Indian Cuisine reviews
14First visit tonight, great authentic Indian food, new menu options I hadn't seen before. The owner couldn't have been more accommodating, knowledgeable or welcoming. He even combined 2 dishes together so I could have all my favourite things in one dish and bought my husband a beer when he learned that we came all the way from CT. We will definitely be back soon. If I could've given it 6 stars I would've!
My 1st time ordering there. Fast take out, friendly staff and delicious food. I'll definitely be back.
Twice for take out. I love Indian food. My friend has been to the middle east and contends the Punjab restaurant to be very authentic.all I know is that I loved it.
One of the good authentic Indian food in town. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean atmosphere. Should try dal tadka.
Really good vegetarian options. Love the vegetable samosas and gobi Manchuran appetizers. Very afforDable compared to other Indian restaurants in the Providence are. Only negative: their breads have always disappointed us. They’re typically dense and not very flavorful, which is not my usual experience of naan or roti. Everything else we’ve had is delicious!
Service was good, order was ready on tie, but this is third time i order from here last two time food taste and quantity was good, but seems like there chef changed or something not sure, but taste and quantity was not good.
Great food and quantity. We tried the dumplings, Naan, Gopi Manchurian and Malai Kofta and everything was great. Excellent and Authentic.
Super nice place. New owners very accommodating. Social distancing practiced and no issues. Vegan items clearly marked.
Good food good people. I hear there will be new management soon, let's hope things do not change.
Poor quality food, small portions with little meat. Taste like from a canned sauce. Not punjabi for certain. Naan very poor quality. Worst experience with indian food in Rhode island. Not coming back.
This place is amazing! I'm Punjabi Canadian my self and I have not come across amazing Punjab food since I've been studying in the states (Illinois, Georgia, Rhode Island). The food here is hands down some of THE best. I highly recommend the butter chicken and daal makhani. Definitely will be ordering from here again soon before leaving Rhode Island!
Absolutely the best Indian food anywhere. The owner Jay treats you like family. When he moved from Rehoboth we were heartbroken, but we found him again and all is well with the universe. His food will bring you lifetimes home
I had an awesome time at this place. We enjoyed the superb ambience and the meals. The staff were very friendly. I am glad we eventually decided to try this place.
They charged us extra money. I didn’t like this restaurant at all. We ask them for onions and they themself give the desi salad for which they charge us and onions are complementary everywhere. The food is ok ok and too much oily.for saag they charge us same as for palak paneer which is not right at all. I recommend not to waste your money going there instead you can go Indiaa restaurant which is much better and cheaper than this restaurant.
