Stopped in for a pre dinner cocktail a few weeks ago. It was not busy around 5pm, only a few other customers at the bar. The bartender was friendly and good cocktails. The atmosphere was laid back. The food looked good, but we didn't order anything. I would like to visit again on the later side and watch the live music.

I’ve been coming to the Royal Bobcat for a few years now. Great decor, great drinks, great food, the bartenders are pleasant.

But I’m having trouble with it being in the speakeasy category with the overly loud, 1990s music that makes you feel like you’re at a rock concert. It doesn’t match the vibe of the place and is far from relaxing. Its Facebook & Instagram advertise it as “little jazzy cocktail bar” & “1930s jazzy New Orleans”… I hope the owners come back to its own mission statement.

I love it here, you cant go wrong with the live music and the service is really nice. Just beware if you have a sensitive tummy because I’ve puked twice after I came home from this venue.

Moody, fun, different. The live music absolutely crushes it every time. The bartenders make drinks to perfection. I will be back!

This place was a nice surprise of chill ambiance lounge vibes with delicious Korean and Cajun food and that sour drink I got was to die for. It feels like you are down in a bar in Louisiana. I liked how different it was to order at the window even for dine in and they bring out your food after. Will definitely be returning

Love the atmosphere aesthetic. Soundtrack matched and staff was excellent. Love Gumbo and had top rated Gumbo in New Orleans. This is my new favorite

A highlight of Providence. Perfect blend of drink and food menus. Attentive service. Fun atmosphere with a killer jazz band.

A fantastic combination of excellent bar, interesting and delicious food, and distinct atmosphere. It feels like you're in a 1920's cocktail loungue in the best way possible. The bar is great, well stocked and the bartenders know how to make a good drink. Also serves absinthe in the classic style with the sugar cube and water. And of course, their live jazz in the evenings is a pleasure.

The food is my favorite part though. The restaurant in there serves delicious Korean-Cajun fusion cuisine that is seriously good. Special shoutouts are their po-boys, the bulgogi cheesesteak, and kimchi mac and cheese. And the fries they serve are not only crunchy, but have a delicious cajun seasoning on them. Would highly recommend for an evening.

I had an incredible dining experience at this unique restaurant that seamlessly combines the flavors of Cajun and Korean cuisine. The fusion is perfect and had me completely impressed. From the moment I walked in, the friendly ambiance and attentive staff, especially bartenders Chris and Sandra, set the tone for a memorable evening. Their expertise in crafting exquisite cocktails perfectly complemented the diverse and delicious menu. Every dish was a harmonious blend of Cajun spices and Korean seasonings, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. The attention to detail in both the presentation and taste was remarkable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an adventurous culinary journey that is beautifully executed.

Staff is incredibly rude from the moment I went in. Would not recommend food is bland as well, they should definitely rethink their staffing they give a terrible experience, I would not recommend this place to anybody. Pray they redtaff because their current staff is absolutely terrible. I would give this a negative 5 if I could but I can’t. Take this as a sign

Came here with some friends on a weekend and the staff was just rude and dismissive. Will not be returning nor will I recommend this place to anyone. I believe their decor is the only thing I appreciated.

Had the gumbo last night and it’s one of the best things I’ve eaten in the two years I’ve lived in Providence. Reminded me of my childhood, when my best friend’s stepdad used to make a pot of gumbo every Sunday evening.

My gf got wings and they were also great. I’ve never eaten anything here that I didn’t enjoy, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Upscale New Orleans themed bar on Atwells Ave. It’s a somewhat small bar with dim lighting and plenty of seating at the bar and throughout. They have water coolers set up throughout which is great, and Hanju Kitchen as a delicious food option. You’ll find a lot of New Orleans staples on the drink menu, which is mainly cocktails, and the decor is definitely reminiscent of the city as well. Bit pricey but nothing out of the ordinary for the area. Different than a lot of other places on Atwells, but in a good way.

I was there, they serve such delicious pasta with jazz music, you can eat as much as you want at night, you don’t get better listening to jazz, when you blow in your ears, you burn calories. I recommend!

I’d never had Korean Cajun fusion before and wow it was good! Kimchi Mac is a must. The cocktails are also really fun. The Royal Hawaiian wasn’t too strong or too sweet. Live jazz on Wednesday and Saturday!

Great cocktails once you find the place. Major speakeasy vibes with live music and I’m here for it. Reasonably priced cocktails ($12-13ish).

The food here is so good, and if you are dry and like mocktails, they have some really good ones. Great atmosphere. Bench seating around the large table under the chandelier could have better, firmer padding.
