Just had dinner at Wakefield
I always have a great meal there but tonight the Cioppino was awful - for $46.95 there was 2 scallops, 2 shrimp and about 20 mussels and watery sauce for the spaghetti and the toast would break your teeth. Not sure I’ll be back.

All 13 of us enjoyed our evening at this establishment. Maureen was wonderful and extremely accommodating. Our server was great as well. It is nice to see employees all working together. It was also nice to see Scott, a childhood friend for many of us, from many years ago. Thanks for being so accommodating.

Amazing Italian restaurant. Hostess, waitstaff and all staff were wonderful. I loved that they offer frozen drinks as few restaurants offer this nowadays. Pollo marsala was exceptional. Will need to return next time we are in area. We made reservations which I highly recommend.

I had a girls weekend at Rhode Island and we were looking for a place to eat a good meal. This place blew us out of the water. I don’t really leave reviews but I felt like this place deserved it. Our waitress was great! All the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious! I am a foodie so I can be very critical but I couldn’t find anything to complain with this place. All I can say is you need to really try this place.

I always get the Rigatoni Forno when I go here. The service is great and they've got the food to match. Large menu, which is normally a red flag for lack of freshness, but that's not the case here. The Tiramisu is really good. My partner had the pork chop special, good, and cooked to perfection. My only dig is that they say they make their own sausage, which I question only because they only serve it julienned. I got it that way when I asked for it on the side. Taste was good, though. The marinara was decent, might have some cream in it because it wasn't a deep red, which I'm not a fan of, but the taste was good. If you're looking for an Italian restaurant that is higher class and good food to match, this is a very good option.

We’ve tried the location in Lincoln years ago and said that we won’t make a point to visit any of the other Trattoria Romana restaurants. With abundance of Italian restaurants in the state, it doesn’t make sense to have overpriced mediocre meal again, although in a nice setting. It was a last minute decision to meet up with friends who live in the southern part of the state and the only place they could get a table in the area was Trattoria Romana in Wakefield. Different location - same experience. Pros: convenient location, nice ambiance, expansive wine menu, and good service. Cons: greasy, slightly over salted dishes, overcooked pasta (we got two different pasta dishes), and prices that don’t reflect quality of food. Again, not a bad dining experience - just mediocre.

Possibly my all time favorite restaurant. Phenomenal Italian food and a great martini selection. While you can find comparable quality at other places in Cranston and Federal Hill, the ambiance is what really sets this restaurant apart. It has a very warm and cozy feel. Located toward the back of South County Commons. Get reservations if you can.

Great food, wonderful services, and lovely atmosphere. Make sure to make reservations well in advance for preferred seating times.

My wife and I absolutely love everything about Trattoria: exceptional food; extremely friendly & efficient service and wonderful atmosphere. The other guests whom we’ve met aka “regulars” add to the culture of this gem of a place. They make the place feel like you’re home. The staff couldn’t be better as well. They’re kind, funny, knowledgeable and always deliver exemplary service. The hosts, Brianna, Kirsty, Jeremy, Lisa, the bus boys and girls all make for a wonderful experience. Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken with Artichoke, Chicken Marsala and Veal Parmigiana are all delicious and the Strawberries dipped in Grand Marnier with ice cream and whipped cream should be illegal it’s that good. You can’t go wrong with this first-rate place serving incredible Italian food served by great folks.

Food was good but not as great as some other restaurants in the area. Also on the pricey side. Service was excellent and they are extremely accommodating with substitutes. Overall a very good meal with good service and ambiance.

Trattoria is the best fine dining restaurant in the South Kingstown and Narragansett, RI area. The food is great: unique offerings and the atmosphere is exquisite. The BEST Caesar's salad with white anchovies anywhere! Delicious pasta dishes, an extensive menu offering seafood, chicken, veal, lamb, steak with Chef designed recipes as well as a robust daily specials menu to satisfy any palate. The dark wood, and warm accent colored walls create a lovely, never overwhelmingly loud atmosphere. The staff are professional, pleasant and proud of their business. The Chefs are very accommodating to specific requests. The restaurant draws a great following of loyal locals and visitors. Easy, available parking, indoor/outdoor dining. Check it out!

Authentic, delicious Italian cuisine served in a first class atmosphere. There's a large bar seating area as well as open tables and booths. Reservations are recommended, as the place is popular and always busy. It's wheelchair accessible with adequate nearby parking.

Large portions. Very good but my veal was a little chewy. I had veal saltimbaca & my wife had connoli pasta with cheese.

Delicious food (have ordered the Caesar salad, fettuccine alfredo, and spaghetti carbonara) and great service. Been here several times and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The service and atmosphere were great! I was dining with 3 other people and 3 if our meals were great! Unfortunately, the fourth was a veal dish that had something on the veal. This was burnt and not edible.

Worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. I’m 16 years old and was planning to go on a live date with girlfriend. Walked in super happy and excited for a nice diner. The waiter filled up my water gave us bread like any normal restaurant. We started looking at the menus and decided what we wanted for drinks and food. As time passed I started to get impatient and looked at my phone 30 minutes have passed and no waiter came to are table to ask for drinks. I waited to see how long I could go without any service from the waiters and it got to 1 hour and no waiter came up to us to ask what we wanted for drinks.

The server Jeremy was fantastic! However, the food was not great especially compared to other Italian food in Rhode Island. Everything was generally flavorless and the sauces were either way too watery or way too thick. Also, everything was wayyyyy too garlicky. Super disappointing food - it used to be much better years ago. The dessert was quite good however.

Always a delight: great food and service. The bread is especially delicious. The sauces are what we go for. I had Pollo Rossi this time: what a great mix of flavors.
